It really is, without a doubt, the best comedic character ever created. And not only does he keepthe character fresh, he just keeps making him funnier and funnier. The only slight mistep was midmorning matters, but even that is good.
Alan Partridge is one of the greatest characters ever. Steve Coogan has evolved and “Revolved” him to the point where he feels like a real person. He is an incredible actor and Alan is his greatest achievement.
2:10 i'm gonna have to pull an Alan here and mansplain this to Alan. A turbo is not housed int he exhaust, though exhaust gasses do pass through it. Also, it doesn't redirect the exhaust gasses back into the engine, it uses the exhaust gasses to spin a turbine which then produces air as it spins, and then that air is forced back into the engine which then makes the engine produce more power as the more air you shove into there, the more fuel that it will also pump in, which leads to a bigger explosion within the cylinder, which then leads to more power. More air = more power. But it needs to be air, and not exhaust gasses. It also usually first sends that air through what's known as an intercooler, which cools the air before sending it into the engine, as denser air is capable of producing more power.
The ability of Steve Coogan to keep Partridge fresh over nearly a 30 year span is absolutely incredible. IMO best comedy character ever written.
Yes, its incredible, especially as it sems almost adlibbed , I know its not but thats how natural he is. Superb.
Can I shock you. I like this comment

Yes I’m convinced he’s the best character
RIP Sir Morgan of Glossop in his hastily improvised Pringle Shrowd!
Alan revealing all his problems from a past marriage right after trying to imitate a biker Marlon Brando is peak Partridge perfection
Check out at 3:22 Alan says A-Women in response to the the ladies saying A-Men. Partridge. YES.
More P's there than a pensioner's Pamper.
It’s so excruciating and delicious. Like a good curry.
Mmmmm....smells good

That car parking story was well put together. Nice.
Coogan is a sublime actor
My motorcycling is important to me … you know that!
Hey baby boy!!

The best part of this? A lot of people are shocked when I say this, the camera angles
I am shocked that you said that.
Can I just shock you
Well, they're copied from actual camera angles to convey realism😐
Alan should be Gary linekers replacement on motd ,comedy gold
JURASSIC PARK
Back of the net.
GOOOOOOOOOOOAL 😁⚽️
‘For I… have the night sweats’ 🤣🤣🤣
“Forget the car! I don’t care about the car! I was in pain, my scalp was bleeding!“
His facial expressions are SUBLIME
“Me or her?”
Fuel in the turbocharger was a visible pain point 😆

So full of nuance. It literally is comedy genius 😂
2:38 we all do it.
Incredibly clever how Alan evolves during his life ! Feel as though he has documented his life since Alan first came on TV pure genius
6:02 "hair" clinic
Alan quasi-morphing into his more feminine guests gives me a little stiffie.

Partridge / Brent / Burgundy
Choose the best one??
Partridge, Brockmire should be up there too

Bill Carr 😂
He drinks that yellow stuff in tins, this country
That should be interesting for meatballs
He’s a deaf leopard.
I’m soooooooooo a Christian
sech-shully hallassed
Funny 😂 one small criticism is I don’t like the known comedians as the experts.
Use a sausage as a breakwater
The only guest who was funny was the sleep expert woman. The two co-presenters are good, but most of the other actors dull.
Dee gilhully is supposed to be cool but she's extremely uncool
Did you not hear her say words like wicked and bang on?
@Emtrax. oh yeh, come to yhink of it, she is really cool actually !
@@Emtrax.kick ass!
