I have a 9° g410 turned down to 8° and struggle with the high ball. It doesn't balloon, just seems to launch high and float out there. Feel like I lose distance compared to my swing speed since it isn't penetrating flight.

One of the best videos yet. Obviously the message is to get fit, however this information will help educate the consumer on what questions to ask during the fitting. Great video highlighting how different driver heads can be between companies even different between heads from the same company. For example I was testing my Sim Max and it appears to be more similar to the Sim 2.0 in spin profile whereas the original Sim driver was incredibly low spin for me. To TXGs point you can't even buy next years head with the same loft and model and always get similar results.

Truer words were never spoke. Built a garage sim this winter & went from around 2 down AOA to 5 up. Spin went from avg 3500 to a healthier 2600. Took a lot of work to get the pull-hook straightened out during the swing change but from Dec to May I've picked up an easy 20-30 yrds carry. Good stuff here. I was fit earlier this year and discovered that I am a poster child for golfer #2. Hit up on the ball, but struggle getting enough spin, and the misses were exactly what Matt hit: low spin hooky balls that fell out of the sky (TM SIM). Was fit into a PING G425 Max and got better spin numbers (2,100 average vs 1,600 average), increased my carry distance a ton, while also keeping the curve out of it.

This makes quite a lot of sense to me. I have an unknown but probably faster swing speed (according to those I golf with) and my ball goes very high then dies. People are constantly stumped, as am I, that my ball is driven shorter than guys with noticeably slower swing speeds. I have an old left handed 10.5 degree Taylor Made driver with an accuflex vs339 shaft. It is always a challenge to find a lower lofted left hand driver. I think a fitting would give me the most out of my swing. Wish you guys were near lol.
