I know it’s his native tongue, but Mr. Atkinson’s command over the English language is exemplary. @@rixterz11 I think you need to do a bit more research on the subject. Actually, judging by your comment, you need to do an awful lot of research. Great Britain isn't just one island. And what about English people living abroad who pick up traces and inflections of local accents, but don't sound like the locals? What accent is that?

I remember seeing an Interview with Rowan Atkinson where they ask him the same thing, he said he didnt want to bring back Mr Bean because he didn't want the character to look Old. He always wanted Mr Bean to stay relatively young. That way the Character seems almost timeless, ageless. Thinking about it i agree, i grew up with Mr Bean always looking a certain way, and while i know its just an actor, seeing him age would be pretty sad :(

Watched this couple of times and never gets tired of it. I find it relaxing just hearing his voice to think that he made the world laugh without uttering a single word. A legend and a man of class. Respect...🙏❤
I had a professor at Indiana University who used to play Mr. Bean videos before exams... we all would arrive early just for the comic relief and to de-stress before the test. 👍
In Austria it is a tradition for some people (my family included) to watch Mr. Bean 3-4 hours before New Year. It plays in the main television transmitter orf 😏👉🏼
Rowan Atkinson is a legend. His work as Mr. Bean will always stand the test of time and breaks down international barriers. The character is comedy genius. But oddly enough I think Mr. Bean does him a massive disservice. Everyone goes oh look it's Mr. Bean, when you look at his body of work and Rowan is simply one of the greatest comedians of all time imo. Look at all the comedy skits he has done, you could tell he was a bloody natural from Not the Nine O'Clock News when he was young. Then you have Blackadder which is gold! Not to mention Johnny English and he is the voice of Zazu in the Lion King! To me he perfected dry British humour. Mr. Bean I love but let's not reduce Rowan down to one of his characters.
@@eoinoconnor5783 Ah yes I hated those scoodydoo movies but seeing Rowan in the first one was the best part of the film. I see need to watch Man vs. Bee, I saw the trailer and it looks like a lot of fun kinda reminded me of mouse trap.
mr bean is so funny because it's played by a very serious and talented middle aged actor who plays a character nothing like himself irl that's what makes it comedy gold
+Nikolai Leerskov But he was middle-aged at the time of playing Bean, which is the point I believe they are making. They aren't referring to now, seeing as he isn't currently doing Bean. :-)
+Alex Thompson I would say it's much more than that to make it comedy gold. It's down to taking every day situations and making them into ridiculously funny moments that are also relatable. We can all see ourselves doing exactly what he does. It's also because of Atkinson's impeccable sense of timing to know exactly when to land that funny moment.
my favourite childhood memory is coming back from school, throwing away my school bag across the room and sitting down to watch Mr Bean at 5pm in the evening eating biscuits and snacks that my mum made along with tea. I miss my childhood 😭

I don't believe it, but he would make a fortune if he did some look-a-like stuff, say like at stag-dos and wedding nights playing Johnny English!
Mozambique. Starts having flashbacks and twitches
@@herencia2j321 lol
rowan needs a star of fame and an oscar.
What an awesome professor!
Abbey that’s actually genius
Thats awesome!
It really was a treat! I sat front row.
That's s great teacher
In Austria it is a tradition for some people (my family included) to watch Mr. Bean 3-4 hours before New Year. It plays in the main television transmitter orf 😏👉🏼
That's cool, I always assumed it stayed in the UK but I'm glad others around the world can enjoy his talent too.
Daniel Wilson In Asia too!! I live in the Philippines and Mr. Bean is really well-known
They usualy send Mr Beans celibrate christmas here. That turky :D
In Estonia on 1st of the january we have a Mr.Bean marathon in TV
Daniel Wilson i lived in a few different countries and traveled a lot and trust me he is very well known and loved across the globe
He's so smart and funny , not to mention an incredibly talented actor. I wish I could meet him one day!
He's not smart.He is a genius.He got 178IQ!!!!
I don't know my name same thing
He has it all! 😬
Give this man as many Oscars, Grammy's, people's choice awards as we can. He is just so iconic
I am a young man from Iraq and I want to get to know a girl from the United States of America. Is there a girl that we can talk to?
Absolute legend always puts a smile on the faces of people :)
What an amazing storyteller
Interesting Fact: Charlie Chaplin once went into a look-alike contest of himself, and lost.
So Rowan, it’s not that uncalled of that this happens.
came third, if i recall :)

Riddler, where's Mr penguin? 🤭
Yeah...
Wait what!!?
I'm sure Bill Bailey could make that into a very funny anecdote about himself, perfect for him. Just goes to show fact is often stranger than fiction.
I love how Rowan gets in character of the guy at the parts store. The little lip lick at 2:00 and pauses really bring the story to life.
That's a brilliant storytelling, right there.
Yes.
Modern Day "Charlie Chaplin" - One of the Finest Actor in Industry.
Not sure if you can still call mr bean modern. I mean kids this days don't even know this legend
They do, but they think he's a cartoon character. Most wouldn't know of the live action one.
Legend has it Charlie Chaplin entered a Charlie Chaplin look-alike contest and lost.
Joshua DODD They don’t. Ever heard of Roblox? It’s one of the most popular games for kids and 80% of the community there don’t even know Mr Bean.
80s and 90s are still "modern". Just because you're 20, it doesn't mean 40 year old people are ancient.
You can see in Jeff Goldblum's eyes that Rowan is a legend =))
omg I thought I was the only one who saw that
Legends recognize legends.
To be an actor one has to look beyond the skin to see the soul in order to become the subject of the story!
Even at that Age he still got that humor that makes all ages laugh ❤️
That age? He's only 69 years old
Humor is not related to age in any way. It's more a question of intelligence. Stupid people can be funny but not humorous.
This is my first time seeing him acting normal
Hm.. Same 😂
hahaha ako din
And its also the first time i m hearing him 😍😍his voice is soo gud
Sailor PokeMoon2 same here
2:15, that’s a Mr. Bean laugh!!!
Righhtttttt

What about jim carrey?
KEANU REEVES AND RICK ASTLEY AND ARAKI HIROHIKO
He was also Mr. Stringer in the Witches, he was in Scooby Doo and most recently Trevor in Man vs. Bee
@@eoinoconnor5783 Ah yes I hated those scoodydoo movies but seeing Rowan in the first one was the best part of the film. I see need to watch Man vs. Bee, I saw the trailer and it looks like a lot of fun kinda reminded me of mouse trap.
Jeff Goldblum is as excited as I'm when Rowan talks about Mr.Bean
Mr. Bean was hilarious though
Was, and still is.
you can tell he is a good comedian when people laugh throughout the story, and not just at the punchline :)
One of the few Most lovable and unforgettable comedy actors of all time ❤
mr bean is so funny because it's played by a very serious and talented middle aged actor who plays a character nothing like himself irl
that's what makes it comedy gold
I wouldn't call him middleaged anymore, he's 63 ^^
Very smart individual too adding to your point that he got masters in engineering in oxford...mind blown.
@@lwaves of course ^^
He has played a BUNCH of incredibly iconic characters, including Blackadder, Johnny English, and Mr. Bean.
Zazu
The Thin Blue Line as Inspector Raymond Fowler
This scene lives rent free in my head! Haha
Thank you mr bean for making our childhood so special
my favourite childhood memory is coming back from school, throwing away my school bag across the room and sitting down to watch Mr Bean at 5pm in the evening eating biscuits and snacks that my mum made along with tea.
I miss my childhood 😭
Ilove India Same bro, same✌️✌️
Same😫😫
I have watched this a dozen times and I still enjoy his story. The way he talks is amazing. His sentence construction is superb. What a legend.
A masterclass in how an introvert can tell an anecdote and capture the whole room's attention
by the way Mr Bean holds a MSc in electrical engineering from Oxford University in real life
Narrating Stories Newcastle
Mr bean is a fictional character he can't have any degree in REAL life 😛
Well, electrical engineers does have sense of humor. Their brains were electrocuted, that's why they're so.funny....
@narrating stories Apple provides degrees now? the iPhone must be very successful.
I was talking about Rowan Atkinson
Mr. Bean was my childhood hero. And still he take me in my childhood when i watch his old videos. Lots of love from Bangladesh. I wish i have a chance to meet with this amazing person Mr. Bean.
same frm bd
I love this man. His work really brightens me up.
For someone who is recognised for a character that barely speaks, he has absolutely spectacular voice and pronunciations.
When you find someone that looks you, like Jeff Goldblum was looking at Rowan Atkinson, never let him go.
Lol I know, the look of love
Ah yes, the way Jeff Goldblum looks at all people and things
Omg i noticed the same thing.. 😍😃😊
This interview is strangely refreshing.
Yes!
I want him to be *Immortal*

Blackadder
Feel that too.. 🤣
Have you not seen any of the Johnny English's?
Ι was about to write that😂
Ryann iV Are you going to see the new one? Haha
Why, in God's name, is he not "Sir" Rowan Atkinson?
@Drakon590 that.....was exactly...what I meant. Why is he not a knight..... because he should be.
They might’ve offered it to him, but he may have refused, I suspect this is the case with Stephen Fry too
Haven’t you seen Jonny English? He won’t be knighted because he beat the tar out of her.
@@Robbnlinzi This is the only addition I will accept to my comment😂😂
He's CBE
I just love how down to earth he is, and he is so well spoken wnding his story with, "What a TW*T". That just killed me. Absolute legend!
What an absolute legend 😂, long live Rowan Atkinson.
He is not a king , but a very good actor
@@VenusEvan_1885 he is
