Yes, getting TSA pre-check was simple breeze takes about 15 minutes to fill out the application then I got a face-to-face interview literally down at the Office Depot on a Friday and got my approval via email on Sunday along with the KTN gonna be flying to Europe this month can’t wait to use the pre-check for the first time
I have TSA precheck and have been told to take off my belt and shoes every time. Also, e-readers must go in a separate bin and a separate bin is required for laptops. Generally, there is a mob in pre-check at SeaTac. I am 85 and wear hearing aids. Yes, that requires a slightly different process too..
do you know why they are making you take off your shoes? I"ve never had that experience

I have had TSA PreCheck for years but going on a trip with my elderly mom in July and did the online registration for her. She has an appointment tomorrow at Office Depot. My only concern is the documentation. She has her driver's license and birth certificate, but of course, her birth certificate is going to have her maiden name. And I don't think she has her marriage license. Will this be a problem?
She should be fine. Passport is best bet if she has that
@@Jake-travel-guy Well, that didn't go well. The guy at Office Depot told her she needed the original birth certificate even though she had everything else, including her marriage license! What adult today has their original birth certificate? Now, we have to order it online and wait about 10 days. Ridiculous! They need to change this rule. Yes, I will work on getting her a passport in the future.
