Those are some great gifts. I love to gift thrifted items as well. They make for unique gifts.
Also the white swan with “JM” on the bottom was the initials of the maker. This is a ceramic piece that was molded and then the person doing the painting etched their initials in the bottom to know whose was whose after being in the kiln. I love anything with a 🦢 motif, never loses its appeal.

I loved seeing your presents and haul items. You are liking White Matt pottery which has a dull finish.and is made in the USA by McCoy or Hall or Weller. Many of these pieces were made for the floral trade and people would receive bouquets in them. I have been collecting them for 30 years and they bring me joy and never seem to be dated. Many of the fluted styles and rounded side handles of the 30's and 40's are coming up in new decor . It seems that younger collectors are into ironstone and milkglass right now. The matt pottery may be overlooked and may be something inexpensive to start collecting now before it becomes popular again. I love the understated ,off white, earthy feel of the finish. Enjoy!!!

I would have purchased that entire dinette set. Great yard. What a gorgeous flower garden/s you could create. I have Black and Tan furniture with many accents in black and gold. Lots of accent colors, but primarily green. You have a lovely smile.

My thrifting friends and I exchange thrifted holiday gifts. We play a fun game with it.. We can only spend 10 dollars total and we have the entire year to collect stuff. Then we see who can get the most items for 10 dollars. It’s a Pollyanna exchange. No one wins anything (except best thrifter) but it’s the fun of seeing what everyone is able to thrift for the same amount.

Fabulous gift basket. (Tool box). Love it. Don’t know if you remember but I did tell you I have an antique gold mirror in my ensuite (was my moms). I juxtaposed them with black globe fixtures on either side. Modern. Got em at wayfair. Truly love your style.

I am enjoying your videos, I love the all white Angel, I collect them for Christmas and I have decided to collect all white or very plain angels in the future, If you didn't want to use her as a candle holder you could fit the candle cup with a small bottle brush tree, I have one that is a mid century piece and she has a bottle brush tree behind her, and I love her. I have noticed also that a lot of the you tubers I enjoy watching have a few words they use a LOT!!!! Your two phrases are "very Anthropologie", and the phrase "Crazed", I love the different hails and the insporation you all give me...

Check to see if the “bath salts” will do any harm to your Copper Scoops. I would be sad, and probably you also, if the salt corroded the finish on the scoops. I’m not sure, but just hearing salt and copper 😬

I too have a big phobia when it comes to dentists. My horrifying experiences go all the way back to childhood, and still to this day tend to have terrible experiences. A strong happy pill is the only way I make it through any procedure. I too used to feel guilty about going through someone else’s things at estate sales, until the homeowner herself thanked me for giving the items she cherished a new home. Loved all the items your family gifted you. Looking forward to future videos as a new subscriber.

My sister's and I give thrifted gifts for Christmas also. I have 3 sister's now, my beautiful sister Gracie went to heaven last year. It's so much fun to see what you get from their finds. I received a beautiful serving platter that was made in England. Cost my sister Chessie (dad named her after a train) a whopping 2.00 dollars We have so much fun.

White super smooth swirl bowl is Franciscan ware I have a whole set and it’s an off-white color. I love the smoothness of it and the swan it’s black it’s actually for the bathroom most the time to put rolled up hand towels on their side that’s what I remember I don’t know I might be wrong with that but I’m pretty sure that’s right

I had to laugh-the dentist said "do you grind your teeth?" I said no. He gave me a nightguard anyway. The first night I bit it in half. So I don't grind but I clench!! I love the little green bottles cuz green is my favorite color and I love containers. Oh and I loved the toolbox, I thrifted one large and one medium size but had to sell before I got to use them! I'm sad you didn't get the white cake plate-it was stunning.

Skip the Starbucks and get the white hobnail cake plate!! Starbucks is gone in five minutes. I always pay the price the seller is asking at any garage or estate sale unless there is a sign "make an offer". I think it is very rude to ask them to meet your pocket book. I hate it when people do that to me and therefor won't come down as my prices are very fair. I am not a bottom feeder only buying $1 to $5 items. The things you thought were high priced were dirt cheap to me. I grew up dirt poor where my Mom could not even afford to shop at a garage or rummage sale in order to feed seven. Don't feel weird about buying other people's stuff. Think of it as carrying forward a love for the item they loved and you will be a great caretaker of that item. Your sisters gave you lovely things including the carpenter's long wood tool box.
