Finally someone with some side panel builds. Love to see this. Great work.
All the cabinet builds out there just show how to make a basic upper and lower carcass. Would love to see a larger build demo of cabinets that include how to construct multiple cabinets connecting and how to make it wrap around end panel. Just an idea
Thanks for watching
Very sharp looking cabinets. I picked up a few tips/ideas from this video. (maybe except for the blade hight used :) )
lol. Thanks for watching
As an amateur DIYer who is interested in improving my cabinet building game, I really appreciate this video. You do beautiful work. Also offering early condolences for the Cowboys season.
Thanks for watching
What a dream job !! Great job keep up the good work
Thanks
Really appreciate these in depth instructional videos 🤙
Thanks for watching
Bro! You dropped some heavy gems in this one 👌🏻👌🏻
🤙
Beautiful work, im fairly new and learning a lot from you.
This is the guy to learn from. Most of the popular "woodworking" channels lean more to the DIY side and make their money selling you products, not selling cabinets.
Awesome. Thanks for watching
Very clean build!
Thank you
Oh man! Great job. Nice looking shop too
Thanks
Wow! Beautiful.
Thanks
Great video. Wolcraft has great countersinks. Give em a try.
Will have to try them out
Wonderful work.
Thanks
My man! Dope video and build 👌🏼 had me chuckling with some of the commentary, like hearing myself think 🤣
Hahahaha 🤙 thanks for watching bro
Looks great!
From the thumbnail I thought the skirt was a light rail lol.
One thought/suggestion/internet keyboard olympian 😅. If you widen the upper rail on the end panel,it will mimic the combination of ff and door top rail in elevation...when you view it around the corner.
This also applies for an island as well.
It is a design choice, neither one is perfect for every scenario.
Beautiful craftsmanship as always!
Thanks
Nice flag bro..im from philly and im a dallas fan..i hear it all the time..lol..
That’s wild living in Philly as a Dallas fan. I can only imagine 👊
Nice job!
Thank you
very nice job.
Thank you
Going forward, please only use “we” ❤
lol will do
Good work GO TEXANS!!!
🤙
Nice build video Josh. Why didn’t you edge band the inside edges of the cutout on the cabinet backs? Or did you and didn’t show it in the video?
Thanks dude. No I didn’t edge band it. To be honest it didn’t even occur to me to do it 🤷♂️
Understood.
Next time 😁
..Or not 😂 to each their own 🤙
Cabinets look great!
astragal might apply to that bottom protruding trim
Do you just butt joint the cabinets with glue? Looks like you just drilled screws in. What type of screws do you use? I have seen most cabinets made using pocket holes. Nice job and thanks for sharing!
Yup just nailed and screwed. I’m using cabinet assembly screws from Wurth
@@NE_woodworksthank you. I have been looking for them and can’t seem to find. Do you have a product number or link? Thanks!
Hey great work. What model of sliding tablesaw are you using? It looks like the right size for my garage shop.
Thanks. It’s the Grizzly G0623x. Great saw
Quick question... how do you keep all the stiles and rails a consistent width if you trim them after glue up?
Just need to be accurate when cutting them to size. I have a shaker doors video where I go over my process.
Everyone makes their insets different but I really like how you square them with pocket holes And a square piece of ply! I use those fast cap squaring jig and the clamps I found at Rockler ? But one end has to be hanging off the bench to allow me to clamp!
I use that orange frog tape but it can pull wood fibers ! I’ll try the green too.
Yea really like that jig u made! The big Grizzly saw with the swing arm? You don’t seem to use it a lot ? Are you 50/50 with it or it’s not useful?
I use the Grizzly slider for crosscutting and do all my rips on the regular cabinet saw. But both saws are great. I really like them
Nice work. I like the leaf blower for dusting off cabinet doors.
Please tell me those are not drywall screws for assembly.
@@michaeldaniel7012 they are cabinet screws lol
I didn’t make it this far assembling cabinets with drywall screws hahaha
They have phosphate coated assembly screws, square drive, etc
@@NE_woodworks I knew a guy who did do that in a sink box (not me) which at one point had a little flood (pipe leaked) . They caught it and asked me to add fixing it to a counter ext. the screws rusted thru the wood and ruined it! So no ! Even though I seen the black screws I told myself “no way”!
See I was right !
What is the angle you cut the feet and final dimensions? Thanks.
4” tall. 1” taper from top to bottom
Nice work & nice shop. Question: curious why you chose the Grizzly G9860ZX 12” jointer over the lower cost, longer table, more power & also with spiral head G0834 ? Was it due to availability at the time ?
Thanks. Grizzly actually sent me that machine to make some content on Instagram. So I didn’t have to pay for it. It’s been a great machine
Dope as always. Apologies if you mentioned it, but what is the brand of the water based paint and primer used?
Thanks. I’m using Gemini Evo
I know you mention waiting to get back your lamello. Do you think the zeta p2 is worth the investment for a cabinet shop?
For a cabinet shop I do. It’s an incredible machine. I have a video coming out about it soon.
@@NE_woodworks o nice, can’t wait to check it out!
what hinges are you using in this video?
@@dimitarstoilov60 Blum full inset
Worst part of this video is that Dallas Cowboys flag! 😜
Great work, Hail To The Chiefs!! 🏆
Hahahahaha. I’m not feeling great about it this year. But it had to go up lol
dude, what kind of shorts are those?
@@user-hz9om3zy9o truewerk cloud shorts. Best in the game
Do you have any bubble issues with the Evo? Out here in Hawaii I can't spray anything without tons of bubbles. The Gemini rep came out and couldn't figure out the problem either. Assumed it was probably the warm weather.
We have had some better results with Renner and Envirolak, but I have to ship them in, which brings the price to around $160 a gallon...
Also, love doing oversized stiles for paint grade stuff, seems like it cuts down on the time that it takes to get them glued up. I always book match our stain grade stiles, but I will be stealing that idea on my next painted job.
Yeah I always make my doors over sized. When I’m grain matching a stain grade project I’m a little more precise too.
I haven’t had any issues with the Gemini bubbling. With other water based products I have tried in the past it would bubble but the Gemini hasn’t been doing it. It must have something to do with the humidity out there. Thanks for watching.
Nice work! Total hours for build? Ray
About 26
Footware?
Crocs in the summertime lol
who dat?⚜️
Lol
That sound track. 😬
😎
I’ve noticed as a professional aircraft mechanic that Milwaukee bits would strip and break 1000 times more quickly than Dewalt. Milwaukee bits are trash
Yeah I typically buy the dewalt pre drill. And I saw the Milwaukee ones and picked a few up. Won’t be buying any more lol
Please stop saying, “we” when it’s just you in the shop. 😅. Other than that, your videos are top of my list.
Hahaha sorry. It’s a habit. It used to be we. Maybe when I say we I mean me and my camera. I probably should just stop saying it. Lol
Pretty common practice for people to say this so that their business is represented as an entity instead of a single person. Not really a big deal.
Um…amazing build and that’s your take away?
Great videos, how do you like your grizzly machines? And how long have you owned them?
It makes me feel included.
