Hey how are you? I bought the instructions but I'm having trouble with the spring in the ejecting mechanism, the bullets stay in place, any tips?
I'm good thanks, hope you're well too. Firstly, when the bolt moves forward, does one shell get pushed forward too? If yes, try using a stronger spring for the ejector. As it is, you have to pull the bolt open with a bit of snap to eject them.

You know you should remade some of your other rubber band guns. Perhaps remake the shotgun so it can shell eject, similar to the grenade launcher part of the M41A Pulse Rifle.
I had a go at that. You'll see the video eventually. However the shell ejection on the Vetterli-Vitali just works so much better.

Is there anyway you can make the shells actually be part of the firing mechanism? Like make the rubber-bands actually require the shells like a real bullet?
Some RBGs have rubber bands loaded onto the shells themselves. They are very low powered though. In an early version of my design, the trigger pushed the uppermost shell forward to release the rubber bands so that without a shell it would not work. Now, the bolt locks open when the magazine is empty, that was good enough for me.

Wait how in depth do the plans go I might get this one I want to do something like this rn especially with my dad so just the plans and we could build something along the lines of this ? if so that would be neet I think it would be dope to pull up at airsoft with this and mabye a rokr revolver and Scholl a guy
