  • The Coros Vertix 2S is a small upgrade on the Coros Vertix 2, with the GPS and HR accuracy getting a boost while the rest of the features largely remain the same. Is that enough for the Vertix 2S to compete with other top watches like the Garmin Fenix 7 and Suunto Vertical? Mike, Nick and Kieran have been testing the Coros Vertix 2S for over a month, here’s their full verdict on the watch.

thanks for the review , not worth the upgrade . I’ll stick with the vertix 2 lol . if the HR and GPS improved at least 20% maybe, but lookin slim. Not enough to spend another $700 for 5% accuracy improvement . if that …

annoying that my $100 aud huawei band 8 fitness tracker has 99% correlation with my chest strap but these big expensive watches that are supposed to be the best of the best are so dreadful at wrist based heart rate. i think these companies are scraping by on low expectations for premium products and the prevailing belief that wrist based heart rate can't be accurate which just isn't true.

Have you ever used Garmin or Coros to understand the metrics they provide apart from heart rate?

@@SS-kg8qw my complaint is that the heart rate tracking is poor

@@Chriscrusty depends on the wrist size and the tightness of band during activity. During a run, it is common for a heavy watch to wobble if not wore tight. If the watch wobble, the heart rate won't be correct.
