13:55 Alright, catching up on and been binging these, so I dunno if this has been answered before regarding Ruiner Felicia; It originates from the Mega Man Battle Network focused Card Pack "30_Minutes.EXE", where Shadaloo is attempting blow up Den City, so Lan & MegaMan.EXE team up with Ryu (who was sucked into CyberSpace) to fight both the bomb program that manifests as a giant Bison projection, and CyberAkuma.EXE. The Battle Chips they use are all other Capcom characters (stuff like Firebrand, Nina from Breath of Fire, Oichi from Sengoku Basara, the REVillage nightmare Baby, etc). After the fight and Shadaloo's defeat, Mr. Higsby comes back into town, selling the special "Ruiner Felicia" battle chip, which was added at the same time as a gacha skin for Nergigante. TL;DR Ruiner Felicia has no story, someone probably just thought it'd be cute/cool (and it is!). I'm very invested into Teppen's lore and flavor text since there's a shocking amount of continuity and detail put into it that I have never really seen anyone bring attention to. If I find the energy and time, I'd probably but the bullet myself and make videos about it.
To be honest, I will love to see more cat characters and or, cat themed characters and or dog characters and or dog themed characters. I also, want more people to do a spin dash attack, whether or not, it has something to do with animals.
So Felicia, never tried her out but I definitely want to at some point, definitely would be interesting to see what they could do with her in a possible Namco Vs Capcom or TVC2. (Because let's be honest, those are more likely than MVC4 at this point, which I don't think is a bad thing, NVC's practically my dream crossover game at this point and TVC rocks) Also 3:35 Oof, looks like Jin wasn't the only character who suffered from the widescreen transition, the things that happen to sprite-based games lol.
Another fun fact: Kae Akari also filled in for Usagi for the final three episodes of Season 1 of Sailor Moon and the first four episodes of Sailor Moon R cause the voice actress of Usagi was unavailable to record her lines.
Since I haven't seen anyone explain it, the Teppen thing is that Ruiner Felicia is a skin for Nergigante (one of the playable "Hero" characters in the game) and she has different animations for just about everything. I think EX skins even have their own music but I haven't checked EDIT: I checked and she does have a theme. Unsurprisingly, a remix of the one also used for MvC3 (side note: Phoenix Wright is also a skin in that game)

They've given him other mobility tools since but never brought that specific one back, it's weird.
You should totally do Akuma someday. Dude is one of the biggest faces in fighting game history. He’s been in X-Men: children of the atom, Marvel Super Heroes vs Street Fighter, Marvel vs Capcom 2, Marvel vs Capcom 3, Street Fighter x Tekken, SNK vs Capcom: Match of the Millennium, SNK vs Capcom: SVC Chaos, Capcom vs SNK: Millennium Fight 2000 and Capcom vs SNK 2: Mark of the Millennium 2001 so you got a lot of options here

Like Guile overshadowed Ryu in their cartoon, Felicia overshadowed Morrigan and Demitri in theirs amid only aired 1 season. Know your facts though.
happy 30th anniversary darkstalkers!!!(favorite capcom fighting game/definitely play vampire savior.:3) find a actually cool detail her friends grew up with her(always loved that about mvc happening after the recent games in capcom like how morrigan queen of makai now fused with lilith/being story after the original games.),love her adorable team up with mike haggar being referenced in the win quote(wish that game had a story mode with how great those cinematics were.)/in teppen she ends up in a nergigante outfit to celebrate some of the monster hunter monsters being in the game(do think she looks good in it and while it gets hard at points do recommend teppen especially how it mixes capcom series having a surprisingly great story i wish the vs. games had especially marvel vs. capcom 3.:3) & fits felicia being voiced by the just as energetic as her laura matsuda(those 2 & elena together would be sweet to see with how elena's basically human felicia.). next vs. game should have felicia meet cammy(seeing her glomp her) fully to see her reaction with her love of cats.
toy touch OTG is a godsend, you can do follow up from grabs or Hell cat command grab by cancelling toy touch to jump and double air M+H+S to launch, then doing standard M+M+H+S, sand splash OTG into dancing flash super.
Felicia is one of my favorite fighting game characters of all time, and she is one my most wanted characters I want to see in other crossover games outside of Capcom VS series, such as Super Smash Bros, Or KOF Allstars, Or Street Fighter 6

Rikuo was that character for me when I first played as a kid! Doing this video though, I have a bigger appreciation for Felicia now and might actually pick her up in Vampire Savior.
She also has the largest breasts of the DS females. Really feels like a lot of sexy elements were left over when they decided she was going to be the cute one, cause it’s really only her personality, backstory, and gameplay that are cute.
I always had Felicia as one of my main teams in MvC2 back in the day. She along with BB Hood are my favorite Darkstalkers characters.
