You have to watch when Spark lowers the rate after accepting. That was happening to me off and on for almost two months. When it happened, I would cancel and accept it again because it usually came back thru. After a while, I got tired of doing that, started to screen shot my orders and then call Spark CS and they would correct it and pay me the difference.
And I thought I was tweaking… I had a order last week and I know when I looked at it, it said $45.71 and after taking it all of a sudden it was $42.71. Thanks for the heads up and confirming this.
Idk if you ever mentioned this, but for guys that mention that they travel to numerous Walmarts. If you haven’t noticed, the algorithm for spark is they send out round Robin orders (these affect your acceptance rate) at the 10th, 15th, or 20th of the hour depend on your Walmart.. so in order to avoid traveling to hella Walmarts, stay near your Walmart until for instance. 10:10, 10:15, 10:20 that’s when you’ll receive orders for the Walmart you are near.. sometimes you may get orders in between those times that are express. But this is how you avoid putting extra miles on your car. I made 236 dollars the other day at one Walmart from 11-7. I found this algo out about a month and a half ago and it’s made a big difference in saving me miles and time. I do this full time now

1:05 the reason your order dropped in value is because you had two stops, but one customer canceled their order. I had an order with 1 trip, then it shows me 9 canceled trips. Sometimes it shows you the canceled trips. Maybe the app didn't do that a year ago.
i agree with many others commenting. Your base pay out from walmart is much higher than others may get. Yours show maybe $11-$12 whereas in my area it goes as low as $6 as the base amount from walmart. I have a 96% acceptance with a 4.7 rating so in theory I should be getting some of the best orders.

Most of the orders in my area pay from $7-14 for average of 6 miles and most orders have bottled water for apartments. Orders over $20 are rare and most times it’s just a tease because it disappears within half a second. I don’t understand how someone can click it so fast.
VERY IMPORTANT: READ THIS The Company don't want driver's to make money. I realized that I wasn't making real money when i accept all offers given to me. What I did? I let all batch orders go to time out and I accented only the one's that would pay me more and with less miles I have to travel. That week I made some money and the week after that my acceptance rate went down hill to 46%. And now I'm not getting any offers and if I do it's all batch orders that would pay me $54.90 for 18 orders while when I picked and choose, I made $130.00 for just 9 separate orders. This is insane to the max.
It’s good when you live in a bigger city that have multiple Walmarts to where you can make that amount of money. I live where there is only 1 Walmart and so many drivers you take what you can 😅 but I’m glad to see that you make the money you do. Keep it going.

I just happen to live in a area where there is 7 Walmarts within a 15 mile distance with 4 being Super Walmarts. You can make alot but I see 2 Walmarts with their own delivery vehicles also. I can honestly see after a year or so Walmart doing just like amazon but with electric vehicles. Its a crew of Spark drivers already who has Hybrid vehicles that 59 MPG makes a big difference. Its something with the Metrics also I opened and closed with pick up if you kill $ a loc one day the next day you wont get as many offers at that same loc.
Yeah I ain’t getting no orders.. it gotta be something spark is doing to give other drivers more orders to than me.. I don’t believe that acceptance rate stuff matters because if someone has been doing spark for 6 months and I’m just starting.. how can I compete with them for orders? They gonna be in front of me anyway right? I don’t know.. I see some drivers rolling and I just be sitting
You’re right it does matter. I have been doing spark since the beginning and I can tell you it does matter. The people that have low AR will still get orders they just won’t be the real good orders! They will never see them!
I have to take a min of 20-21$ a trip bc I only get one an hr. I do 25 mins of delivery and 35 mins of waiting. Is there a more efficient way to do this?
how you get that many orders taylor to just you? I never see more than 1 at a time with the timer to accept the offer. just the surge offers. are you using an app to get offers like that. or is that just ur location? i been to different states in the west and I only see one offer taylor to me. are you in the east coast?
I’m east but it depends on how busy it is in my market. Sometimes I only get one others it’s multiple. If your market is saturated with workers that affects it to

I just started spark this is my second week and as soon as I started my app this morning I was hit with absolute crap. I’m talking $8 for 15 miles. Lol. I rejected the first 5 direct offers because I’d literally be paying them to deliver. I don’t understand why we should be punished with a low AR for declining offers that aren’t profitable.
I started yesterday, did a batch order. NEVER again! Not one single tip from the 12 people in that batch order. It took way too long, messed up my incentive for the day, and the week, definitely not worth it. Then I had a nice short order for $32 at 9:00, 1 order. Do you know Walmart just decided to go home and not bring the order out. 🤦🏽♀️ Another order, the guy was at a hotel, and put the wrong address in. So of course I’m at the wrong hotel. He did give me an $11 tip for taking it to the right hotel, but I didn’t see Walmart give me any extra effort $ for anything, including the ridiculous wait times picking up orders. I just knew my first day was going to be amazing. It wasn’t. Definitely not giving up, but I’m also eliminating one of the Walmarts. They make it impossible to make a good hourly rate when they are so slow. How are you slow with 1 person in the lot! I’m determined to have an amazing day tomorrow starting at 8am!
Yes some Walmart employees are horrible. Order will say crib side but worker try to make you go inside and get order. Or employee will push order to your car and just leave knowing . I’m eliminating one Walmart as well
When I first started Spark, I took all the orders. I ended up taking two cases of water up three flights of steps. It was horrible. My acceptance rate is 8% now. I don't take everything anymore.
I do good with Spark, but it is rare for me to see more than 2 offers on the screen. I generally just mess with shop and pay orders since the closest store is not fast at pickup orders.

How can you tell if they are houses or apts without looking at Google Maps? If you are new and don't know the areas? Just curious. I wish it would state what is was out to the side.
You can typically tell if there is a unit number or letter next to the address, it doesn’t work all the time but that’s a quick way to know. They really should put a house or apartment by the address for us though.
When acceptance rate is low they give me terrible offers. It seems they find a way to penalize you for declined orders and not accepting certain orders.
I’ll get a couple bad orders here and there but for the most part my orders are good so I’ve never felt a reason to accept all the crappy orders. Thanks for watching
The round robin offers are the only orders that will affect your acceptance rating. Any first come first serve or ASAP offers will not count towards your acceptance rating. You can decline those orders anytime.
Juzy be aware of tip bait alot of spark orders have tip removals since spark allows it be sure to check earnings tab and keep record/screenshoys of all the orders.
I’ve following your steps I drive a large suv supposedly to have a better paying orders i start at 7:45am and stop taking orders at 12:30pm I barely make $100 in daily basis then I start at 2:30-8pm too make up for the day sometimes it works sometimes the reserve order doesn’t come up every hour and if it does I get the lowest paying one 😢 one of my buddy’s has a really bad metrics and he gets all the high paying orders lol I don’t understand spark my metrics are 100 percent in all categories
You can drive a small car and make just as much, not have big orders, and save on gas. You win with standard mileage deduction on your gas if you drive a small car. If you drive a big car, I recommend tracking all expenses and deducting per dolla spent.
Yea the mile per $ is not for walmart. Why? Cause it is not telling you total miles. Only says miles from walmart to delivery. The $ per miles is more for doordash or uber eats. As it will tell you total miles. If you are basing your delivery on $ per mile. It won't work. Also it doesn't really matter as. Most deliveries are near the walmart. Or close to another walmart.

One, I saw you pull into the Walmart space THEN swipe to start trip to Walmart towards beginning of video, am I missing a trick here or were u already in parking lot? Do we HAVE to contact customers when we're on our way or is it only recommended on certain deliveries? I've also noticed 'deliver by' times on all deliveries I've had but each time I was late to some degree..... always due to long waits to get orders, etc... does it really matter much as long as it's not an 'express order'? I just need a LOT more details cause I think I'm getting stressed for no reason when I'm on deliveries. I also had to cancel an order today after driving 10 minutes to store then waiting over 20 and it still said it wasn't ready 🤦♀ read they will pay u for excessive waiting and u can cancel after 30 minutes but all I see is a $2.50 addition.... really? like thats all my time is worth for 30 minutes of wasted time 🤬

Does Walmart allow selling of Alcoholic beverages using Spark? If so, how is that done as far as looking at their ID and all? I used to deliver for Go Puff and they DO deliver Alcoholic beverages and you had to go through extra training and all, so just wondering about how it's done with Spark. .... I WILL say though, it really wasn't too difficult checking ID's at the drop off and taking pics of their ID and all ONLY because the people REALLY wants their Alcoholic beverages, and they KNOW, if they give the driver grief, they'll get NOTHING and like it! So how does it work with Spark?
I live in a small town that pays low as well. I drive 30 minutes to a larger/richer area set as my zone and I get 30-40 offers for single small orders that have 10-15 of it as tips and in 3 weeks I haven't had a single tip changed after delivery
Love ur attitude...I know that you say 2dollar amount....but u get some really high dollar short trips so you could accept some longer run it would average out 3 or 4 a week could mean another 100 a week...if they are simple orders

I’ve had long wait times but especially during the holidays we should expect longer wait times as the order volume has increased. It definitely sucks having the long wait times

Great video! Do you know if customers can add items to their order late and those items not show up on the list we see? I'm asking because sometimes when I pick up orders there are random items that were not listed. I never know if the items belong with that order or if a mistake was made.
I think they have until like 2-3 hours before the delivery time to make any changes to the order but everything should be listed when we see the order. I’m not exactly sure you might want to contact customer service if you see that again. Thanks for watching
Happened to me today I left the extra untagged item in the car and asked the person if there order was correct! They called the person who placed the order and told me they were missing the item I left in the car I left it just in case didn’t want get snaked for it
there needs to be a mandatory tip minimum that cannot be cancelled if the driver did not do anything wrong

So I noticed today you can tell the difference when a customer order waters. It will say extra earning and 40-50 lb item.

I have over 125 drivers in my zone, ACCEPTANCE RATE matters.

I’ve following your steps I drive a large suv supposedly to have a better paying orders i start at 7:45am and stop taking orders at 12:30pm I barely make $100 in daily basis then I start at 2:30-8pm too make up for the day sometimes it works sometimes the reserve order doesn’t come up every hour and if it does I get the lowest paying one 😢 one of my buddy’s has a really bad metrics and he gets all the high paying orders lol I don’t understand spark my metrics are 100 percent in all categories
You can drive a small car and make just as much, not have big orders, and save on gas. You win with standard mileage deduction on your gas if you drive a small car. If you drive a big car, I recommend tracking all expenses and deducting per dolla spent.

Yea the mile per $ is not for walmart. Why? Cause it is not telling you total miles. Only says miles from walmart to delivery. The $ per miles is more for doordash or uber eats. As it will tell you total miles. If you are basing your delivery on $ per mile. It won't work. Also it doesn't really matter as. Most deliveries are near the walmart. Or close to another walmart.

thanks for the info and video. Maybe you can answer some questions for me (or someone else reading this)... One, I saw you pull into the Walmart space THEN swipe to start trip to Walmart towards beginning of video, am I missing a trick here or were u already in parking lot? Do we HAVE to contact customers when we're on our way or is it only recommended on certain deliveries? I've also noticed 'deliver by' times on all deliveries I've had but each time I was late to some degree..... always due to long waits to get orders, etc... does it really matter much as long as it's not an 'express order'? I just need a LOT more details cause I think I'm getting stressed for no reason when I'm on deliveries. I also had to cancel an order today after driving 10 minutes to store then waiting over 20 and it still said it wasn't ready 🤦♀ read they will pay u for excessive waiting and u can cancel after 30 minutes but all I see is a $2.50 addition.... really? like thats all my time is worth for 30 minutes of wasted time 🤬

Yes the amoun get lower after you accept it!!! But often the amount picks up when it’s time to get paid.

Some great tips, one question, do you gets dinged if you have to wait for walmart to get you loaded which in turn makes you late for the delivery?
Yes, if they take forever and we are late then we are penalized for it, which sucks

Does Walmart allow selling of Alcoholic beverages using Spark? If so, how is that done as far as looking at their ID and all? I used to deliver for Go Puff and they DO deliver Alcoholic beverages and you had to go through extra training and all, so just wondering about how it's done with Spark. .... I WILL say though, it really wasn't too difficult checking ID's at the drop off and taking pics of their ID and all ONLY because the people REALLY wants their Alcoholic beverages, and they KNOW, if they give the driver grief, they'll get NOTHING and like it! So how does it work with Spark?
Yes they do, basically you just take their ID and fill in the info. You’re supposed to make sure that they are not already intoxicated.

Can they deactivate you for having a low acceptance rating?
I haven’t heard of anyone getting deactivated because of a super low acceptance rate, mine has gone as low as 8%
Do you know if it's possible that they give you less orders?

Spark definitely pay Different for area / zones I’m in small town 1 Walmart and the offers are much lower here than what I see of yours .
I live in a small town that pays low as well. I drive 30 minutes to a larger/richer area set as my zone and I get 30-40 offers for single small orders that have 10-15 of it as tips and in 3 weeks I haven't had a single tip changed after delivery

Normally it was have an appointment number or unit number in the address which helps me to know.
I would take that $19 order
Love ur attitude...I know that you say 2dollar amount....but u get some really high dollar short trips so you could accept some longer run it would average out 3 or 4 a week could mean another 100 a week...if they are simple orders

I'm new to Spark, but is anybody else seeing excessively long wait times? Today three of my orders took over an hour to be brought out - that was half my day!
I’ve had long wait times but especially during the holidays we should expect longer wait times as the order volume has increased. It definitely sucks having the long wait times

Great video! Do you know if customers can add items to their order late and those items not show up on the list we see? I'm asking because sometimes when I pick up orders there are random items that were not listed. I never know if the items belong with that order or if a mistake was made.
I think they have until like 2-3 hours before the delivery time to make any changes to the order but everything should be listed when we see the order. I’m not exactly sure you might want to contact customer service if you see that again. Thanks for watching
Happened to me today I left the extra untagged item in the car and asked the person if there order was correct! They called the person who placed the order and told me they were missing the item I left in the car
I left it just in case didn’t want get snaked for it
