- Ever wonder what it would be like if someone created a Game based off a bunch of goofy ideas created on a Forum? Well Takkomon Kouzatsu World is just that! A Mega Man Zero style platformer featuring many different creatures with strange origins and even stranger designs!

So couple things to address that of course I forgot to mention.
First is that the Yukkuri and such were probably created on a Text board, not an Image board. I couldn't actually find anything that said for sure, but given that they're all ASCII art, I think it's safe to assume it was a Text board.
Second is that every stage in the game does have a name, but you can only view the main 8 though the file select screen if you quit out after selecting it, my favorite is Yurobon's stage, Flying Spaghetti.
Third is that you can pause the game and press your Dash button to bring up the Special Moves list, complete with inputs required and Special Bar used.
Fourth is that illuCollab's site while linked doesn't have a working link to Takkoman, and as of actually a week ago, Playism stopped carrying it as well, so sorry about that.
Fifth and finally the most important, did you spot the Bug?
How do you download the patches? I’m trying to get to the latest version from 1.002 and none of them work! At least, the ones on the illuCalab website don’t.
I'm so glad that all of these creatures had an origins. I've been wondering where they were from ever since I played it.

Those graphics, man! They went above and beyond what the concept deserved.
This is like a precursor to cursed images.
One thing worth mentioning is that the unlockable special skills you get from bosses can be (mostly) linked to your main kicking combo and the ammount of combinations is quite massive. That is how you keep your combo chain to get to those sweet S ranks. It really has a solid gameplay mechanic.

It´s beautiful, missed a "megaman X/Zero" type of game for a while and the hole craziness just makes it more chaotic, who said chaos wasn´t fun?

I remember the first time I saw a yukkuri and being completely weirded out by it. I don't know how their popularity spread so much throughout the fandom, but it did, and we just have to live with it. Never heard of this game before so it'll be interesting to check out.
as someone who lived in kozatsu, i'm so glad to see this cursed universe again!
we had even an religion for those creatures,and sometimes we fought each other to decide which religion should conquer the kozatsu.
the thread was so populated and it only took an hour to 1000 comments mark when it's prime.
but after the 心綺楼(hopeless masquerade)'s release, the thread itself was slowly died.i think i can split the cause to 3.
firstly, kozatsu was basically created by fans of SWR or 非想天則.so HM's slower paced and rubber-banding gameplay was not accepted and disappointed kozatsu's people(including me).
secondly, the golden age of touhou was came to an end at that time in japan.
kancolle was already blasted its popularity back in 2013's launch,also people started to find something new to replace touhou,so gensou board's population had scattered too.
touhou's population was largely supported by niconico, but the mainstream of niconico's content was shifting from touhou to kancolle or inmu those days.
and thirdly, of course, gensou board's shut down.it was already dead when it shuts down, but yeah, you can't see the thread anymore, so it's officially dead.
this is the one of the greatest and most cursed experience in my life when i was there.it's sad to see that i can't see them anymore. and i feel so old lol.

For the longest time, before Touhou Luna Nights, I considered this game the best Touhou Fangame.
The game came out on Steam today. I haven't seen any differences (although, I only played a few minutes of this release, and an hour of the previous one). It does come in japanese and english for both the script and interface.

This looks too good for a 2012 fangame originating from a message board.
This game kind of reminds me of "Tempest of Heavens and Earth" on gameplay, if you haven't played it then try it, I think it's good

Those creatures aren't necessarily connected with Yukkuris; I heard the entire game is based on in-jokes of a certain Scarlet Weather Rhapsody community on a message board. Kouzatsu/攻雑 is short for 攻略 & 雑談, which means strategy and talks, the words thread titles had on it.
