Cream is one of the most powerful beings in the Sonic universe. Her little eighteen inch ears can flap hard enough to carry, not just herself, but 50 pounds of Amy, 100 pounds of Amy's hammer, and all 700 pounds of Big the Cat. With no apparent effort. Indefinitely. If she were to earslap someone she would reduce them to chunky salsa. Not to mention how strong her LIMBS must be not to just pop off like Lego pieces with almost half a ton hanging off them. She must be almost as strong as Knuckles. AND SHE IS ONLY EIGHT. She will only grow STRONGER from there.
To be honest, if you're only resorting to melee after getting wrecked in Phase 1, then you deserve to get your behind handed to you on a silver platter.
FP1 milla is more like knuckles (and carol too kinda), a completely different playstyle. So it depends on players if they prefer that character or not.
@@HardDanX Eh, this one has melee and machinegun cubes and instant cubes + a guard, while the original has 2: attacks and only the one defense +the main attack that takes a few seconds to form.

given their explicit personal beef with each other, it almost feels intentional that Milla can just turn this fight into a complete joke like, literally only 3 of his attacks in both forms (the rain of bullets, the missiles and the slashes) don't go right back at his face if you sit there and hold the special button Milla's shield trivializes some other bosses too, but none to _this extent_ as far as i've experimented
To me she is by far the most flexible character in FP2. She has projectiles, a reflecting shield, and probably the most versatile movement tool: the aerial shield boost.
It was, what I call, The Super Phantom Shield. Essentially, it was a bigger, stronger (in terms of damage, case in point the Super Phantom Burst) version of Milla’s normal Phantom Shield.
@@SerpentYoukai I've been testing it and well, it seems that it only works against fires that go through, for example if there are enemies with fire attribute, mile should be very close to the enemy and return that attack with double super shield
@@SerpentYoukai It is strange that no one realized that milla has that super shield double shield ability, not even where "guide" appears on how to do that hidden ability
I sincerely believe that the Milla achievement for only defeating a boss with her shield was intended with this poor fool in mind. But who else could she pull this off on, I wonder... --- --- (Spoilers for Freedom Planet 1 and 2 below.) - I can't help but also see that just how effortlessly Milla can take down Serpentine, even without attacking back, puts some truth into his words of the dog being bred for war. And as you take a closer look at how her powers operate, it starts raising a slew of questions and points to consider. 1. She can freely manipulate a variant of the gel that Brevon's forces seem to run on in spades. One wonders how she got those powers... was she naturally born and mutated to be given powers? Or was she biologically engineered? Was she born with those powers and forcibly conscripted? 2. Was GalaxyTrail alluding to Milla being related to Brevon and his armies in Freedom Planet 1? After all, she and Serpentine both transformed into bosses during Final Dreadnaught 2 and 3, respectively. (Which further makes you reconsider: Brevon capturing Milla wasn't just wanton cruelty. He might have known that Milla's mutant form was an option to unleash upon foes, and sic'ed her on Lilac.) 3. Why doesn't Milla remember where she's from? She remembers parents... but it's possible that her "parents" are just the people that created her, and she either blocked traumatic memories of escaping Brevon's fleet (which might explain why she's in the sewers in her starting level for Freedom Planet 1) or had some sort of safeguard that locked away fragments of her powers and memories by defecting. There's a lot to go off of, here, but I don't know if or when these mysteries will be elaborated on. Ponder...
I like this theorycrafting, but just small correction. Milla starts in Aqua Tunnel but story-wise she is breaking out of the Shang Tu prison. Technicaly this stage should show up before Jade Creek but since this is kind of a tutorial stage it was moved (or rather never moved to a proper spot). One can wonder, what will happen in FP3, assuming we get it in the first place. Would love to know more about Milla's originis.
@@Naxer2272 I did a bit of double-checking, and it looks like you're correct. It doesn't help that the game's opening for a Milla run literally has Brevon's Dreadnought crashing into Shuigang's mountain range, and 5 seconds later, the text says "Meanwhile, in an underground tunnel" before cutting to Milla, making this technically happen while Brevon figures out his next move--probably invading Shuigang. All this has done is create a plot hole... what was Milla doing in Shang Tu's sewer system? Shouldn't she be closer to Shuigang, having escaped from Brevon's Dreadnought? Oh, well... just an oversight, I guess.
