I know this video is a couple years old but it's my first time seeing it. I'm commenting in case others come across this video as I did. Here's the deal with how people "see" local color, everyone sees color differently and where one person has matched that blue sky perfectly to what they see as being the true color another person will match that blue sky perfectly to how they see the sky and both blues will be seen differently from another person's perspective. So, in reality, the blue sky is subjective to who is looking at it. Everyone's sight sees color differently. I come from a background in graphic design and have worked with color for decades in the print and website world (as well as being an artist) and when color correcting with a group of people, all of them were seeing color different from each other. So, my advice is to paint the colors that please you while keeping in mind Johannes' methods to painting because he has some great information.
I HAVE BEEN ADMIRING YOUR ART VERY Much, I AM STARTING ANEW,....... ALL MATERIAL IS TEN YEARS OLD😂 WHAT CAN I KEEP AND WHAT IS TOO USELESS? ❤ THANK YOU,JOHANNES
Dear Johannes! I'm just a beginner painter at your age and so glad I found your videos. You mentioned once what you haven't been a talented painter. I totally disagree, you seams like a talented person in many things - creativity, paying attention to details, teaching, explanation and mostly giving your knowledge to others. Thank you for this. I bought your book and hopefully it and your videos will guide me.
Thank you very much for the beautiful. Video I was very amazed thanks Very interesting thanks for sharing please, please stay connected 💟 ... 💗💖..💞.💕..💖💗 ..
