As a wife, mother, and homemaker of the last 10 years, I cannot express how touched I was by the way Harrison Butker spoke about his lovely wife. It brings me to tears each time I hear them. So many times when I’ve told someone that I’m a stay at home mom, I get the roll of the eyes, then the downcast look with their lips pursed, and then all conversation stops. I feel the judgment palpably. What I want to shout when this happens is, that the life I am living was my absolute wildest dreams as a child. I grew up in chaos, trauma, and tragedy because my mother was very sick with cancer, and then she passed away when I was still very small, and then my grandfather passed away from cancer only 2 weeks later. My family was so broken, and all I wanted, all I prayed for, and dreamed of was to meet a wonderful man, get married, become a mother, and make a beautiful home for my family while raising my babies. It was wonderful seeing this young man celebrating the vocation of wife, mother, and homemaker.❤️

He is more than just a great NFL kicker but a great speaker for the Catholic cause.

Please give yourself time to adjust. It’s very different at first and pray for God to help you fall in love with it. Rationally I knew I had to switch once I learned FMs designed the novus ordo and knew it could not be as pleasing to the Trinity nor as efficacious. I accepted that this is truly Catholic

as said, give it time. At first, I thought it would be like NO but in Latin. It isn't. But once you realize that it becomes so beautiful. It took me about 4 times, and we have a booklet to follow.

Harrison Butker is something extremely rare in our society today. He is a holy man. He is a holy husband, father teammate and public role model! We need many many more like him!
Maybe if more men were truthful and vocal about their respect for the value of women as HOME Makers and Mothers many would rarely enter the secular workplace. Butler’s true appreciation for his wife and his strength as a man and not bully or ‘superior’ is actually refreshing. I’m almost willing to bet he and his wife work together to strengthen their family not see how they can compete or taunt or one up each other.

Harrison spoke truth against the world’s golden calf… modern feminism… he triggered criticism even from faithful Catholics.
They were not faithful Catholics or they would not have criticized anything he said, for it was all truth.
I mailed his family homemade rosaries yesterday. I mailed them to the Kansas City training facility. I pray that he will be given the rosaries. Tremendous Holy Faith. Amen amen amen

I found a funeral card for my great grandfather in an old missal. He has been dead 90 years and I am saying a Mass for him. I am grateful to have found it. This missal had been in an attic for 60 years and somehow made it to me and now I am able to have a Mass for him. I wonder what Rome thinks of Butker's speech.

Sadly, he is so right. Our local Bishop in Eldoret is jist after collecting money, pandering to the politicians to the detriment of the simple faithful. Only their comfort matters. It was a saving grace of Anglicanism that it in its high forms adhered to beauty in the Church, Cranmer was have been Lutheran in his theology but like Luther he was a master of his language and his Book of Common Prayer a thing of great beauty. But the liturgical reformers. acting in accordance of the “spirit of Vatican II” devalued beauty like the Puritan who wanted to eradicate it. They confused simplicity with ugliness.
But he didn't speak that truth in love. So sad that he missed the most important commandment.
