- We just onboarded our very beta testers to Arc on Windows!
Over December, we'll be onboarding hundreds of testers to Arc. And come January, we'll be welcoming 1,000s of new members from the waitlist - every week.

On the waitlist! I use my PC as my secondary machine, so it's a perfect test device so I don't have to worry about any bugs or issues! As a web developer, I am super excited to see how Arc translates to windows!
bro its been over 2 months did you got early access?
@@Prachi_Singh I did! I got an invite shortly after the first of the year! Overall impressions so far are that it definitely feels Arc-like, but I’m waiting for a few more features before it fully becomes my daily driver on my windows machine.
I have been on arc since late 2022 and have nothing but great things to say.
@@cirkutpersonal Sounds really exciting. I hope they will add support for JPEG XL in the future, unlike Chrome.
@@Prachi_Singh That's actually really intriguing to me. Can you explain what purpose you're looking for JPEG XL support?
@@cirkutpersonal I want a future where only one codec rules all the images that is JPEG XL. But looking at the current picture I don't think google let that happen anytime soon.

OMG YES. I've been wanting Arc on my desktop PC for ages now - once the windows version is looking solid, I'll be switching over to Arc as my primary browser for sure. Thanks for the early xmas present!

lucky(smartly) i got the access by the buddy thing i had nothing just a normal google account and invited my self and it worked, buddy day is now off so i think u can't get it now with that @@sirbughunter

Just added myself to the waitlist as well! I'm so excited to try it out! I'm primarily a Mac user but I have a gaming PC and a spare Windows laptop or two sitting around.

Seriously its been over 2 weeks and we've only had 71 people onboarded? Many of us have been avidly waiting for this for months. I've been checking back on the website every day or two.
I'm sure we all wouldn't mind a few bugs and would be happy to accept them - or is the browser simply not ready and you felt you needed to keep the hype train going?
it's maybe not ready, they said they'll launch in 2023 end, now only 3 days remaining..
I legit recently just signed up- and the count went up to 72
@@av.makoraph It's been 72 for a long time, they are working so slow to be honest. They said it's gonna be on 2023 winter last year and now almost no one is getting invite
@@helo1tsangel219this video description also said that in January they will be giving acess to 1000 members from the wait list - every week. Such a bold statement. First week of January is already over and no one got acess to it since the 72 people were from December.
@@helo1tsangel219 I just found an email from 12/12/23 saying "come January, we’ll be welcoming 1,000s of you from the waitlist every week"... hopefully they'll be moving along with it now the Christmas break is over.
I think we all understand that software dev. takes time but there's plenty of us on the waiting list that wouldn't care about a few bugs. Really makes me feel like it must be in an unusable state atm with the way beta is rolling out.
As an aspiring graphic designer that's been on the lookout for a browser that maximizes productivity and IS also aesthetically pleasing and customization friendly, my GOD am I excited to finally try Arc on Windows!!

Got so hyped when I saw the email to sign up for beta testing! I've been using arc on my work macbook and I can't go back to any other boring browser, excited to try it out on my windows desktop!
I can't wait! I've been using Arc on mac and I love it. Best browser I've ever used. When I was using my PC yesterday I was just thinking man I wish Arc was on here too. And then this announcement comes out today, yess!

Trying out the beta and loving it so much, for me it solves a niche use case, which is that as a mobile developer on windows I had to keep chrome installed to use the webview inspector, even tho I was a firefox user, with Arc it’s built-in, and I love it!

I have been waiting for this, been following updates of the app since its very early stages.
I swap between windows and mac pretty much constantly so I am super excited for Arc on windows.

if today (Sunday) until midnight there's no new 1000 users added that means they lied. Because their announcement says 1000 new users will be added every week starting January and the first week is ending today and stil nothing

As a devoted Arc user on macOS, I am super duper excited for the beta phase of Arc on Windows. Will be using it mostly on my work laptop, so plenty of usage and feedback incoming haha

"in January we will be welcoming 1000 users from the wait list every week", January just started at the end of this week let's see how many people get inside. If it's not 1000 their video description is misleading
@@symphonixblades Yes but it's quite disappointing to see such an ambitious-looking team to postpone every due date they've told us.
@@user-my4ke4eh4zit's Sunday, they have until the end of this day to prove me wrong, if 1000 new users aren't added until midnight, they lied to people and created false advertising, since they said starting January, 1000 users would be added each week, and the first week it's already ending and still nothing

Seeing the email about this LITERALLY MADE ME SQUEAL. I have heard amazing things about Arc and was about to start looking for a new browser until this came to Windows - but not anymore! So glad that this has been released in beta and can't wait until it's stable!

Why is there only 7 beta testers at the moment. Don't these roll out in batches? I saw it at 3, then later at 6, now 7.
