    I’ve made several of these using Bernat blanket yarn weight 6. It is my go to pattern for Bernat blanket yarn! I love how fast it goes and how soft and snuggly it is! I use a size N hook with this pattern using Bernat blanket yarn. 3 skeins make a good sized lap blanket or a large toddler blanket. I like to use 2 skeins of a variegated Bernat yarn then one skein of a matching solid for a border. Try this, you will love it!

    So much clearer than another I just watched. With you simply repeating "single crochet, chain one...etc" made it so much easier to understand! Thank you!

    This is so easy, thank you! I watched a different moss stitch square tutorial first. Kind of confusing so I went looking for another and found yours. Blew my mind with the "do not join". So much easier! Thank you!

    On the 4th side of the 1st round worked into the MR if you chain one before going to round 2 you avoid the minor flaw. The ch1 allows you to skip the first sc without pushing it forward which causes it to show. The ch1 gives it a seamless flow into the next round.
    Once you notice it you can’t unsee it.

      What is meant by "MR"? I can't think of what you mean there.

    You keep saying not to join. I think "join with a slip stitch" cleaner. Your beggini by square is a touch off centered and a little Twinkie. That is because at the join you should be doing a slip stitch. Helpful hint. @repeatcrafterme

      I would say technically no. A moss stitch is a moss stitch for its iconic little vs which you wouldn't get with half double. But you could still do the half double. It just wouldn't have the same v look to it. Overall, I think it would still look nice and work up quicker. Give it a try.

    IS THERE A TUTORIAL WITH CHANGING COLORS. NOT FROM A VARIEGATED YARN. FROM DIFFERENT SKEINS.

    • @Krissyrocksoutloud
      @Krissyrocksoutloud 5 лет назад +1

      I'm thinking of doing this project with different skeins instead of self striping. I plan to work however many rows of a color I want and then end in a corner with a slip stitch. Then I will join the new color with a "standing single crochet" (or you could tie on the new color, do a chain one, then single crochet), chain 2, single crochet and then work on as normal. There's many ways to join a new color into a work but I would suggest no matter what you do, to join in the corner. It's always easiest to hide that way lol.
