Just my 2C from my own experience here. Make up an exhaust pipe to go on the silencer to route out via the back of the car. As currently the oils coming out of the exhaust will get on the rear tyre. I learned this the hard way and making up a routed exhaust fixed the issue and no more loss of traction.
Have the same. After some time it will smudgde your car body etc. Better to reroute if you can do it. Also it looks like your expansion pot is vibrating, perhaps secure it a it better.
A month ago I purchased the FG BMW E30 (the basic one with a 510 mm wheelbase)... The rear-wheel drive is something unique. In the 1/5 category I learned that the first investment to make are tires... and patience. And now I see a huge Formula One RC. I'm going to have to do some extra work to even purchase this LOL
😊🙏 Fantastic work there 3:16 RC ... Thank You So Much for the efforts & for sharing! Michael Schumacher : The Ferrari Red Baron 7th Times F1 World Champion Forever! 🌷🌿🌏💜🕊🇮🇹
Just as a recommendation. Instead of tilting your model to get fuel in it, try getting a syringe. It would be easy to angle over the car. And you could easily attach some tubing to it as well to get a better angle.
This is so cool/awesome/insane. I had/was into RC (battery) when I was younger (10-12). I couldn't afford the fuel running RC. I had no idea RC world build was this insane. What does this RC world cost if someone like myself were interested in getting/building an RC at this level? TIA... Very Cool RC, I'm glad I came across this video.
Thanks for your comment. You can get in the hobby with the less inexpensive 1/5 scales from places like fearlessrc.com You can get an HPI buggy clone ready to run for like $500. Cost only goes up from there when you move up to the more elite brands like Losi, Kraken, HPI and MCD especially is you start adding upgrades to your rig.
So awesome!!.. and i like how yoi did the slow pulls on the new motor.... I just ordered same car.... where do i get the air intake.... and any other upgrades.... you and i think alike.... that intake is ugly stock
I can’t nock this guy it’s a lovely car the one thing I would sort out is filling the fuel tank lifting the car on its side all most is not good but the guy new that I will say nice car sir . I had the FG MARDER years ago with a power pipe I loved it I would like another one the fuel is so simple just add rock oil. Any way good racing to you sir. 💪👍
My therory is that the reason the fuel tank seems awkward, is because it might come from a chain saw or gas leaf blower or a similar tool. Much like the carb (chain saw).
Famous last words of a nitro rc guy. The 270 engine is enough. Boy if I had a nickle for every time I said that. It wouldn't even pay for an engine. Lol. It's an awesome rig congrats.
I am pretty sure that this is more or less the standard version of the FG F1 car. I own the same, but i have upgraded nearly every plastic part into Aluminium. The vertical chassis plates are available in cfk. I also replaced the into cfk. But nevertheless my car is not competitive with the competition f1 car from FG.
Nice build but you could EASILY get a lONG NECK funnel and heat it up and bend it to the desired angle so there would be ZERO need to turn the car over but I'm sure you have figured that out by now...
I think between healing people and doing other miracles Jesus would be doing RC! Well maybe? You did a good thing naming your channel i had to subscribe. I do cars planes and Helicopters the most. I had a 1/4 scale boat years ago but im not into boats.
@@mikemoultrie8829 Is your servo linkage correct? That back should be just a tad loose with no throttle. Free spin the front with the wheels off the ground then apply break. They should stop hard. Check cables. What braking power% do you have set in the transmitter?
Does it have a servo failsafe for the throttle? The rear tires seemed to be toed in too much. I wish there was a way to get those hoses to follow the front upper wishbone into the chassis. The way they were I was kinda like ugh.
Yes, I have a throttle cut programmed in the radio plus an engine kill switch on radio loss. Can also activate kill switch from radio. I haven’t done anything with suspension adjustment yet. I’ll do that when I get it to the track.
@@RedNinjaGaiden Yes, I always remove any metal to metal screws on all my RCs and check for thread lock. FG did a good job locking all the screws. I did tear down the diff and replaced with my favorite “Fast Eddy” grease although what FG had in there was sufficient.

nice kit. reminded me of that Frenchman that built every single part of a Ferrari 312 PB , even the tyres
Thanks for the video. I miss the RC life. I still own many of the cars and stuff, but I doubt I’ll ever run them again
Your welcome. Why never run again 🥹

love that you started it facing a fence. nice back up!
😁😁😁
That is the ultimate RC car right there! So awesome! As a fan of F1 I salute you my good sir.

Wow! Thanks
Beautiful car! I believe the fuel tank is like that so that it's all under the body.
Looks and sounds epic. I can practically smell the fumes. FG look awesome, definitely on the wish list.

Awesome car brother that thing is beautiful and you brought that idle right on down to happy! God bless you my friend thanks for the shout out!
Thank you brother Jeff and for the tip on setting idle. Thanks for giving us that tip. I’m glad to share it. God bless brother!
Very nice 5th scale gas RC.. I was waiting to see the body on the car. Having an HPI Baja 5b I can appreciate your choice.
I like them all. Nothing wrong with a 5b. 💪🏼
Sweet ride, I may have to rebuild something in storage
Very nice looking, I love how the body looks on the chassis, the complete car look amazing 💯💯💯 thanks for the mention 👌👌
Your not the fastest guy 😂 but good things are worth waiting for! 🖌️ The body is a work of 🖼️
I will change the name for The Turtle Rc paint hahaha, I'm glad you like the paint job 🐢
This scale is kinda growing on me. Beautiful work man
Thank you brother 👍
The fuel tank is oriented in that way so that you have to tilt that car up. It keeps you from spilling gas on it.
Looking good! I loved running mine but no tracks nearby and ended up selling, which I still regret
There’s a track about 2 hours away from me. Hope to take it there
Mechanical art! Beautiful model
Super great looking rig another win for the hobby 👍👌✔️
Awesome thanks 👍🏻

Good idea 👍🏻 thanks
That’s German quality 😊 I love FG great models and awesome quality ❤
I agree 😀
Total dream build. Id build it and just stare at it
Looks great. Little confused with all the upgrades that you left your 2 cycle exhaust pointed towards your wheel.
its the recommended mounting by manufacture. luckily exhaust does not effect wheel or control
Wow nice build and a beautiful car
Thanks
Nice I’m going to have to get back into my RC cars.it been long time.

How does it handle. I used to race 1/8th years ago using 21 engines
You have to get the rear shocks adjusted and learn your throttle. You can easily spin out if applying too much throttle on curves.
