What I like about Shouma is that he gives his evil racemates a chance to redeem themselves. It's like us humans asking an alcoholic or drug addict to surrender themselves and leave those they're addicted to for goods or they'll get jailed. In this case tho, since they're monsters and Shouma has no way to jail or catch them (obv cuz it's the human world), he had no choice but to eliminate them. Its kinda dark if you think about it. In Kamen Rider usually these monster are mindless creature akin to an animal or straight up evil spirit, in this case its people addicted to stuff that they lose their empathy for other race.
9:18 its kinda right, i don't know its official or not but people theorizing that Shouma is "Transform" into Gavv not wear a armor suit. So its kinda like the Granute that attach limiter on their Stomach to tranform into human.
it was kinda obvious since premier, his body is literally turning into gavv, the black undersuit is his exposed/naked body underneath, Kuuga, Agito and Kiva did this as well

Ngl I didn’t pick up on the zaku chips blade being like katanas but I somehow made the connection with the potato chips swirling around like cherry blossoms and stuff initially on first watch. Also yeah gavv is more organic ish as the pipes you mention are like connected to his body/stomach and stuff. For the subbs of gavv where I watched from tvanon it has a different translation with power ups and announcer voices having little neat animations. And also in the tvanon version sub if I remember correctly says You can either quit the dark candies or you die by my hands or something like that. I prefer tvanon for the special subtitle effects and everything but you can watch whatever is more convenient or what you want and stuff.
about the " not knowing what a kamen rider is, in many Rider shows they don´t even call them self kamen rider, its a name the were giving by other in various ways, wizard, W,Drive and so on

Not coming at you at all but it's just pronounced how it's spelt for the most part- Gavv. Gavu is just how to say it with a Japanese accent :) keep up the great work! Gavv is a great season, first season in a while I'm keeping up to date weekly with! It's so fun!
