I have all these bottles but the only one I reach for is the foundation. Y'all left off VOB 100, it's so good especially for the price. I have 3 bottles on my shelf right now.
Just spent 4 days in Louisville. Didn’t see the Barrell Foundation anywhere. Where did I miss shopping for it? Didn’t come home empty handed though. Green River Full Proof and Pursuit United Double Oaked store pick from Evergreen’s, a BBC distillery exclusive Small Batch Stave Finish, a James Pepper Decanter and best of all a JTS Brown for $9 at Total Wine, plus the obligatory Blanton’s from BT distillery (at 3:30 on a Saturday afternoon they had ridiculous amount of). Also, damn it was hot there and I live in Florida!
I think the most underrated bourbon out there is Maker's Mark Cask Strength at $38. Wow! I like it better than Green River Full Proof at $48, which is also very good.
Bought 3 of 5 of these to sip and they became mixers. Haven't tried Foundation and really haven't bought a bottle of VOB since they dropped the bonded, but enjoyed every bottle I bought. I should pick one up for old times sake.
Where the heck are you seeing a "half-gallon" of JD Triple Mash??? I have only seen the 700 ml bottle and 1,000 ml bottle which is a bit more than a quart.
I really enjoy the Barrell Foundation but it's $52 in Minnesota. For this price point, I can find a better bourbon . . . .mainly the New Riff Single Barrel Store Pick :-)
Not a fan of Barrell Foundation at all. No real negatives... but no real positives either, especially at the price. I paid $50 for my bottle but noticed yesterday that it's now $60. Will not be buying another one. Smoke Wagon Small Batch, on the other hand, hits my palate just right.
Where are you finding Barrell Foundation shipped to you for $42? Sign me up! lol it's $55 everywhere I see it, which id still be happy to pay

That EW Black label is a good warm up pour as well. $15 here
Cooper’s Craft the 100 proof, Bardstown BIB, Blue Note Juke Joint

Ezra Brooks 90 for the win
Always keep Cooper’s Craft ($40) and Rebel 100 ($22) on my bar.

Nice list however, in my humble opinion, I would add Old Forester 100 Proof. And at $26 I think it is a bargin. Oh, it really tastes good, too.

I drank the EW Black at a company Christmas Party last year. It was the only bourbon they had and it was great..
So far, just not a fan of Barrell. Smoke Wagon is great. Great review.
Im surprised Makers Cask Strength didn’t make it on the list.
It was cool meeting you today at Evergreen Zach. Cheers!
Cheers brother great meeting you!
I would have included Russell’s Reserve 10
I've recently developed a fondness for Evan Williams 1783 over the Evan Williams white label.
All good stuff especially the Barrell Foundation. Don't care that much for Barton, but the others are all great.
Zach's facial expressions should come with subtitles. LOL! Great video (again)!
I'm surprised Green River wasn't on the list. Maybe I missed something? Regardless, great content as always. Thanks!
We love Green River and Talk about them a bunch. We just tried to stick to some bottles we don't cover a lot is all!
@@bourbonkingdom See? That's why you guys have great content. Thoughtful and honest. Cheers!
I love how the intros are just a bit awkward

Evan Williams sib $32, knob 12 $48, rare breed $49. Here in ny are my go to for low mix and higher proof.
Never have seen KC 12 less than $60, good for you.
@@peterjanetatos7061 ive got two stores by me, 48 bucks and 50 bucks

I por out my EW Black. It was a horrible dirty dog flavor
These guys talking about budget bourbon is pretty funny. Maybe they are realizing doing content of just their "look at all my unicorns" is boring?
