The bittersweet "Silent Night" at the end is a sequel to the episodes we had in the early 90s with Stephanie being alone at Christmas (ep 1192), and then Brooke being an "outsider" at the Forrester Christmas party (ep 1144). Both these times the song Silent Night was used to emphasize their loneliness.
@@lastdayonearthmysteryman4849 I was referring to the Christmas episodes of 1991 (episode 1192) and 1992 (episode 1144) specifically, both of which ended with Silent Night playing while the focus was on the person who was alone/the outsider on Christmas Eve (Stephanie in 1991, Brooke in 1992).

I know it's so sad. For some reason the writers always split up the best couples on this show, or the best characters leave. Then we're stuck with characters like Hope and ultra boring Liam.
Looking at this episode just reminds me as soon as Ric finds out he’s not the twins uncle he’s gonna end up hooking up with them smh and ridge is gonna hook up with Rics sister smh I don’t get why the writers had to have so m much incest on this show.
