So, I feel like Hope lets too many people in her head on several different levels and that influences (whether intentional or not) her feelings for Thomas. Brooke and her past is definitely in Hope’s head as Hope doesn’t want to be married multiple times like Brooke though she didn’t have a problem marrying Liam over and over again mostly because Brooke was in her ear about destiny but also because Hope was really young when she first got with Liam. If I remember correctly she was around 18. Also, Liam, Steffy and all the other nay sayers are in her head putting their two cents where it doesn’t belong causing Hope added stress and confusion. With all of the things that have gone wrong in Hope’s life lately I can see her falling back into taking those anxiety pills to cope. If that were to happen I think Thomas would come back to help her and I think that would be the thing to help Hope get over her reservations about marrying Thomas. I just hope Hope figures it out before Thomas decides to give his heart to someone else.

No more of Thomas being a Hope worshiper. She said she is not ready to get married or make a real commitment repeatedly but Thomas should not go back to compromising for her and being the only one who gives everything in the relationship. I am not interested in them going back to the way they were because that is not progress and she would just got to using him. Thomas needs to break free for good. It actually makes sense because Hope just got divorced and she’s not ready whereas Thomas hasn’t been married in years so he’s ready to get married tomorrow. He needs to be with a woman ready to fully commit now. He said it best, Hope is out of time. Don’t give her any more. I don’t want him back with her. She doesn’t seem like she misses him. No flashbacks of their time together. She wants Finn. She’ll take Liam because he has always been the love of her life. Bring Thomas back married with a new family for Douglas. Hope had her chance, it too little too late. She’s not in love with him, that’s the point.

Hope is only in love with the idea that Thomas only adores her and no other woman, but she is not in love with Thomas himself, which is why she does not want to marry him. because if she really loved him she would never let him leave with Douglas. you will see now that Thomas has left, supposedly due to brainwashing from Steffy. Now she can also ruin Steffy's relationship for this reason and ultimately run off with Finn. I hope Finn doesn't develop a soft spot for Hope because she understands him about Sheila. this allows hope to make its mark.

I never liked Paris, but perhaps she has matured? It is dangerous ground for Thomas to play with Paris' emotions. I almost thought she was in on the ruse with him to reel Hope back in? In this case, perhaps absence has made their hearts grow fonder? Moving on shouldn't make Hope reconsider Thomas's proposal. She is like her mother Brooke; after all. It is entitlement and Hope can say No, but cannot accept hearing it said to her. Both Thomas and Hope are damaged people that need to take introspection of what they separately want and need. Time is not of the essence, it is essential that they slow down before making a bigger mistake.
