Love the tips! One I got and used after my dad died was, when you feel depressed or just having too many negative thoughts go outside and look up at the sky (especially on a nice day but works for me even on a dull day). Its hard to have negative thoughts when you look up! I'm not religious but I was told that's why so many religious figures, no matter what religion, are so often depicted looking up. It helps give a sense of peace and calm.

Thank you! I love your channel because you are all about helping others to feel as good about themselves as they can. You're about helping people, and that's beautiful. I appreciate the tips! I just turned 50, so it feels like a new adventure has begun. I have a positive thinking tip. First thing waking up in the morning, lie in bed with your hands over your heart, and think of something, anything to be grateful for. It doesn't matter what it is, it can be the same thing every morning, or something seemingly small and insignificant, or maybe it's a new dress... Whatever it is, begin the day with gratitude, and then during the day repeat positive body thoughts to yourself, even, and especially if you don't believe them... like, "I have beautiful eyes. I love my body, I have beautiful legs." It's very powerful to retrain our mind to think in positive ways about our bodies in particular, instead of the constant rumination on our "flaws." the cells of the body are always listening and filtering our negative thoughts, send them positive thoughts instead and our cells will thank us. Namaste all!

Dear Schellea, your tip about listening to the top 100 songs from when you were 18 is quite something. I pulled up a play list, randomly picked a song and closed my eyes to listen. Instantly I had memories flood into my mind from high school and teared up for some reason, very emotional. This is extremely powerful and I am amazed over this, the best thing ever. Thank you! I love your channel, you are so special :o)
Stelma, I listen to the oldies station on the radio all the time and some of those songs still make me cry at certain times. So I know what you are talking about.

Thank you for the tips and info. I am 54 years old. I had my 3rd lower back surgery in May 2021 due to a congenital birth defect I never knew I had which caused unnecessary and improper back surgeries, but after this 3rd surgery, I spiked a high fever then I was diagnosed within 3 days as having Acute Myeloid Leukemia. I received a stem cell transplant from an anonymous donor in December 2021. I am told that I’m in remission but I’ve had multiple complications with Graft Versus Host Disease and I was placed on a ventilator Last week on 8/6/22 for one night thankfully but I’m having breathing issues and I so desperately want to be well to try all these tips and get on with living. I’m enjoying your videos so please do continue to have the courage to continue them. I need anything that’s a mood booster right now. So thank you! You are beautiful! 💕🙏
I started on Perfect Collagen and just bought my Simple oil cleanser. But I realised vitamin C is very important to go with collagen so I just started taking it together today. I pray that all these will work. I am 46.
I use a 5X magnifying mirror and wouldn't be without it. I go half way and put my runners on when I get up and do exercises in my pj's. So proud that you are an Aussie Schellea and helping women around the world in such a lovely way. Great tips, great job!
Wow!! These are all amazing tips. I really appreciate all the time and effort you’ve spent putting this video together. You have a beautiful, thoughtful soul , which is clearly seen by the enthusiasm you show for everything you want to share with us. I personally have used sooo many of your health and fitness tips to bring sense, strength and stability back to my body. Thank you again xx
Loved your tips! My tip for reading glasses I forgot to take with me: install a reading glasses app on your phone. I magnifies how big you need it with a switch and even has a light. Very handy for reading menu's in a dark candlelight lit restaurant for instance.. Readingglasses always at hand.
THANK YOU!!! i am not even exaggerating when i say.LITERALLY THE BEST VIDEO I HAVE EVER WATCHED OH HERE>i turn 50 in June and u hit on so many issues that i am currently struggling through, especially the ones about our lives healing and our mental health and self care etc, but really if i could i would hug you so big right now for helping me tonight. tomorrow i can already tell you is going to be better for me. xoxo keep on filmin mama, you r killin it!
I noticed that my hair was thinning on top (I'm 65) and decided to make some serious changes which have honestly helped. I started taking Biotin in the AM and PM and brushing my hair rigorously every day. I got into a bad habit of always using a comb and then remembered when I was a teen I always brushed my hair but hanging my head down in front and brushing from the roots. I also bought a hair washing brush to use in the shower when shampooing my hair. Recently a friend came to visit that hadn't seen in about a month and she commented immediately on how great my hair looked! Another great video Shellea! All your tips are brilliant and I do - because of you I started also a rigorous routine of stretching/yoga/pilates for 15 min in the AM and 15 min before bed and WOW what a shift that's been. Another tip I would add to your list is lymphatic massage! That's a brilliant process for your face and body. Our lymph system doesn't have a heart and as we age it needs help! Massaging to help our lymphatics drain (dry brushing, massage tools for body and face) is great for our health overall and for a more youthful appearance :)
I just turned 50 last September and I really needed to hear all this. I need to give myself a kick up the bum....Thank you for your uplifting message...new subscriber here! 🌺💕

Great tips! I found that not having a tv in the bedroom let's me fall asleep a lot faster. My body isn't expecting to wind down to tv, it winds down by just going to the bedroom and getting into bed. The power of the mind!
This was absolutely amazing! I especially liked the tip for using my phone to read small print on bottles etc. This will help me to read ingredients when I’m at the supermarket. Thank you for all your hard work. 🌼🌸🌼🌸
You are my new best friend! Thank you for helping motivate me to be good to myself! I have been exercising for almost a month now and I’m still doing it! I usually don’t follow through! Thank you Shelley
Thank you for the tip on the phone magnifier! I need to tell all of my family & friends about this one! I’m still thanking you for the info on another video you did about using the space bar on my phone to place the cursor where I need it😊 Thank you for all of the wonderful tips!💕💕

Absolutely one of the best videos I have seen. Thank you for this very comprehensive (mind, body, soul) info done with so much positivity and simplicity. I feel better just watching and listening! All the tips are wonderful, but your recommendation to revert back to our 18 year old selves through music is spot on. Feeling a renewed outlook and gratefulness for your channel.
Oh my goodness, this is my favorite RUclips video of yours, ever! Your son was so helpful as were your tips on everything else. Love the top 100 playlist for the year I turned 18... I’ve got mine playing right now!
Hi Schellea, I want to send you many thank you for all of your amazing sharing, the workouts really helped both me and my mom to keep fit together. My mom is 53 coming 54 this April, she especially loves your eyeliner and face highlight tutorial. I can see she looks more put together and is glowing up day by day. Your contents not only benefit those mature ladies but of all ages too. Words cannot describe how much your motivational videos have helped me personally and guiding me how to help my mom. ❤️Again, With Full of Gratitude, Thank You So Much!!! May you be blessed with joy and love everyday ❤️
Thank you so much, I loved reading your comment Jazlyn G! And I love that you have so much love and concern for your Mom...Thanks for letting me know ❤️
Thank you so much for this video and your others❤️ I went shopping for eye make up today with much more confidence than I’ve ever had. Picked up some funky reading glasses. Will have to hunt for the coconut oil. I also love it for a moisturizer on my dry skin.... just a tiny bit stops itching. Feel more confident going to the pool and the gym too! Look forward to watching each new video you create. Much love to you!
Hello from Toronto Schellea! You have a number of great exercise/workout videos but I'm confused as to when I should do what. Do you have a sample weekly schedule for what workouts to combine and when to do them?
The magnifying tip is a game changer! Thank you! Another great tip for hydrated skin is using Hyaluronic acid serum. It does wonders to hydrate your skin. Your hair is so pretty! And the fringe advice is great! 😃
Tracy. Obviously l don't know what type you use but l tried The Ordinary and didn't like its stickiness. When l was in Canberra l found The Ordinary Marine Hyaluronic. l'd swear it's as nice as the Dennis Gross Marine serum l used for a while. About 1/10th of the price too.
You are absolutely adorable! I worked out this morning to several of your routines, then listened to this while stretching and doing yoga. I am wiser for it!! I have a tip to share that took me 65 years to figure out: you know how clothes hangers leave stretch marks on your sweaters at the shoulders? Just take your sleeves and flip them up and over the top of the hangers so that they hang on the back of the sweater. This takes the weight off the shoulders. No more stretch marks!
Serendipity! I discovered you by chance yesterday, and absolutely love both the content and manner of presentation. You have amazing style! Thank you. 🙂
Same for me! Just discovered you last night, and I'm already a fan! Someone commented before that they are captivated by your grace and demeanor; it's your soft feminine, classy elegance for me...
So many great tips!!! Thank you for all the hard work you put into these videos for us. You are so appreciated!! Wondering if you might do an updated What you eat in a day video and also what supplements you are currently taking?? I always look forward to seeing what you have instore for all of us!!!!
Schellea this was by far one of my favorite videos of yours! Every tip was wonderful, but I must say The Louise Hay "You can Heal Your Life" book suggestion...I can fully attest to. I still have my original copy from college days (or my 18 year old playlist days ☺️) I bought after my first (devastating) breakup. I had such a hard time with that tender heart of youth as I thought I was supposed to marry that boy. This book changed my life, so much so, that every time I have ever run across a copy at a garage sale or our Library Sale (they sell books that start to look old) I buy it. I have collected several and anytime someone in my life is going through a rough patch or a transition that is challenging for them, I give them a copy! Hats off to you, I love your channel so. I know I have been quiet lately as I am healing up from back to back surgeries! 😘& 🤗 Love & Light ~ t 💗🙏🌺
I started watching your channel a couple months ago. as I will be turning 70 this year, boy I wish I would’ve started listened to this years ago. Your tips are excellent. Keep up the good work! I LOVE your accent
You are awesome and I loved some of your tips. The one tip I would share with you that I learned this year (also 52) is that for blondes with blue eyes BROWN eyeliner is much, much more flattering. I have used black for decades and when I switched to brown it made a huge difference! The black eyeliner you use makes your eyes look too harsh. They are beautiful, but try brown and see what you think! Blessings!
@@labornurse I agree...I'm almost 56; at 51 or so I started using a slate gray or brownish charcoal eyeliner and I'm getting compliments that I'm "looking younger". I do break that rule if I'm going to a dress-up party where the lights will be low & everyone will be wearing more make-up. But for everyday, straight black is too ageing for us blondes.
You are so right about finding music from the year you turned 18! It truly does speak to your soul. I love your channel. Thanks for all of these great tips in one video.
Hi there and thank you for all the great tips I love all of them… Here is mine… I use flushable wipes now whenever I go potty… Use the amount of toilet paper that you would use normally to wipe but wrap one flushable wipe around the paper and it leaves you cleaner, and feeling fresh as a daisy... I went to Costco and I bought the box that has like 10 pouches in it I put a pouch in every bathroom in my house I also purchased two small separate pouches one for my car and one for my purse so that way I can always have them in case I’m out and about. I also keep an extra pair of knickers in my glove box bc you just never know... also because we are in our 50s and over, using a little tiny bit of coconut oil on the wipe every now and then is also a nice added touch and retains moisture. I’ve been doing this for years and it has made me feel more confident throughout the day because it is a much better hygienic toilet routine!!! Just a nice tip to share with us ladies 🧻🚽💦🌼
National Trumpista - Certainly in the UK these wipes may be flushable, but they still block up the sewage pipes. Most of them still also contain small amounts of plastic. I’ve stopped using them for these reasons but it’s SUCH a shame!
So many great tips in one video- thank you SO much, the most beneficial 25 minutes I've spent in a long time. Thanks for the positivity and the zoom trick on the iphone- a game changer!
I never forget where I park because I always park in the same places at a parking cart station (where you leave your cats and I use landmarks.) All great suggestions, thank you; especially the music ones and the reading glasses. I loved your video message idea also. I gotta pick up that book, there is a huge correlation between habits and are health.
I do the same thing, park right next to the cart return. It's a little embarrassing to wander aimlessly through the parking lot, pretending I'm not looking for my car. Been there, done that.
Tip 9 put your workout clothes when you get up instead of your dressing gown when your not going to work, this actually does work as half the battle is getting ready for a workout 🤔

Hi Schellea,
I want to send you many thank you for all of your amazing sharing, the workouts really helped both me and my mom to keep fit together.

Great ideas thanks and thank you Luke for the magnifying feature.
I loved reading your comment Mind Bender! Thanks for letting me know ❤️ Stay fabulous 🌺
Dear Scheila, we are blesed to have you, and your advice. 👑
I love these tips, especially the music list tip. I have started making music list from 2002-2005 when I was 16-19. Thank Shellea!

Thank you so much for sharing your wonderful tips . Tried the fringe what a difference
Hello from Toronto Schellea! You have a number of great exercise/workout videos but I'm confused as to when I should do what. Do you have a sample weekly schedule for what workouts to combine and when to do them?
I am working to make that happen Carol Bennett ❤️
Thank you for those fantastic tips! I will definitely try some of them.
Thx Schellea, wonderful tips! Your vid has really cheered me up. Will start listening to all that fab music from when I was 18:) X
pretty girl, Im so happy it cheered you up...The music cheers me up to ❤️
Great idea about light blocking. With blue eyes, it makes it tough with so much screen time these days. Thank you!
The magnifying tip is a game changer! Thank you! Another great tip for hydrated skin is using Hyaluronic acid serum. It does wonders to hydrate your skin. Your hair is so pretty! And the fringe advice is great! 😃
Thanks for taking the time to comment Tracy Guenther! Im happy you enjoyed the video 🌹
Hello Tracy, how are you doing today?
FAN-STAT-TIC....I love all the tips ideas. Thanks fabalous 50s
So many great tips!!! Thank you for all the hard work you put into these videos for us. You are so appreciated!!
Wondering if you might do an updated What you eat in a day video and also what supplements you are currently taking??

Thanks so much for your comment Jody Dupre! Im happy you enjoyed the tips 🌹 And thanks for your video suggestion 🙏
Loved all your 35 tips! One of my fav videos from your channel. Please do this again.
I have never noticed you had a asymmetrical face! I am just captured by your voice and graceful demeanor!😘🤗
Thanks Graita B.! Have a fabulous day 🌸
Schellea this was by far one of my favorite videos of yours!
Thank you so much for your kind words. I hope you are having a fabulous day ❤️
I stumbled upon you the other day and just love your approach and tone. I’ve learned so much from you in 3 videos. I’m 60 and so grateful. ❤️
I'm so happy you're enjoying the videos! Thank you so much for taking the time to comment ❤️
And yet another awesome video, love it! Thank you so much for sharing. Peace and Blessings.
Blessings!
This...I learned this the hard way. Did black for years until selfies became popular, and then i realized how harsh it looked in pictures.
Will definitely give this a go.
@@Sharon-Australia Hello
Thanks so much for sharing your tip with us! Have a great day 🌹
National Trumpista - Certainly in the UK these wipes may be flushable, but they still block up the sewage pipes.
Deborah Smith me too! It makes a huge difference. Drives my hubs crazy, but I must park in the same area at stores I frequent regularly
I do the same thing, park right next to the cart return. It's a little embarrassing to wander aimlessly through the parking lot, pretending I'm not looking for my car. Been there, done that.
Im so happy you enjoyed the video Deborah Smith Thanks for taking the time to comment ❤️
Tip 9 put your workout clothes when you get up instead of your dressing gown when your not going to work, this actually does work as half the battle is getting ready for a workout 🤔
Thanks Dawn! A little bit of effort goes a very long way...Stay fabulous 💪
I enjoy your work out and tips. I intend to keep on working out to look and feel fabulous. Thank you.
Thank you so much for your helpful tips! I love your looks and especially your sweet voice! Love to meet you someday.
