The jumper holes on this MB are located on the left side, right next to where the daughterboard cables plug in. Look for text that reads 'HWWP' or 'RWWP' right above them.
What is it that causes the computer to turn off when you close it? On an earlier Chromebook I had there was a magnet in the bezel but I couldn't find any here?
Hello! There is still a magnet on the bezel - if you're looking at the screen while the bezel is still attached, the magnet is located on the back of the lower left corner.
This tutorial has come in clutch, just disabled the firmware write-protect cause i didn't know how the hell this thing came apart before now.

Could be the camera and mousepad system, or soeaker and power default, if not its the battery power.
