Awesome work set-up! Wish I have the money to have an end-game set up like yours. I am also working from home with my wife and while I work on a desk with my budget pc build, shes on our bed/couch doing her thing using her laptop and it pains me to see her bent over. Stay awesome guys!

Hey Dan (and Christina!) Loved the video, and your content in general. Keep up the awesome work. Love both of your desk setups. I saw this video minutes after you released it and probably multiple times after. I wish I had a big enough space for my wife and I to have a shared "office", but maybe in the future.
Like many people, I was trying to decide between an Embody or Aeron. No way I could afford either one myself, but thankfully I managed to get approval to get a chair on the company Credit card, since I work from home & have back issues.
This video helped me finally make my decision - when you guys said you missed your Embody chairs, despite having very good alternatives. I opted for the Cyan Logitech x HM Embody, as it was 15% off, and cheaper than buying a regular Embody, and also direct from HM, with quicker delivery. Also, as a gamer in my free time, it matches with all my other Logitech Stuff!
Absolutely loving it so far!
I was using a leatherette "managers" chair from Costco, and while this was miles better than my old "gaming" chair, didn't realise that it was leaning to one side, until I got the Embody. This was probably making my back issues worse over time. So happy that I was able to return it to Costco for a full refund, even after over an year of using it.
OMG We love Costco and that's one of the reasons why! And congrats on getting an Embody!!! Glad you love it! C still bugs me about when I'm going to bring the Embodys home

Another option for the monitor arm that a friend and I use is the Ergotron HX. That can also hold up that TV well (with the adapter ofc). The HX is an incredibly robust arm.

5:56 or try the LG C2 42 inch, that’s what I use for gaming and productivity. It’s the perfect size for doing work on my MacBook and gaming on my PS5. I did have a 1080p LG tv for my PS4 but since I got my Xbox One X and now my PS5 this is the perfect tv, or if you have the space that 48 inch is great as well but like he said you can’t be two close or you’ll get really bad headaches and eye strain.

haha that intro. Cute! I always tell all my tech friends I always want more screen real estate, but they always judge me for not going dual monitors instead. Thumbs up for the 48" monitor. I wanted to go either 43 or the 48" monitor from Aorus.
There are times when dual monitors can be huge...but I'm trying to figure out a way to make it work in my studio setup. I have a couple ideas, but if only I didn't have this STUPID ACL TEARRR AGHHH I would make the video sooner.
The problem with dual monitors is that you either have to choose one as your primary monitor or always be staring into the crack between the two monitors. I prefer a single large monitor or ultra wide.
@@ropro9817 I will say though, having multiple monitors is helpful if you have a main one in front of you and one to the side. As much as “splitting” a single screen is helpful, sometimes it helps to keep your periphery files on another monitor. So when I video edit, I miss having another monitor where my folders are out so I can drag stuff in when needed.

Nice Video. If you want more screen real estate, you have more with a dual screen setup for sure over a single 4K monitor. I think it really depends on what you do and how you use your monitor. In my field of work (3D Artist), I will say 80% prefer to go dual monitors instead of 1 big monitor. I never tried a massive 43" or 48" (16:9) monitor. However, at one point, the studio I use to work gave us a 1 Ultrawide 38" (21:9) to replace 2 x 24". Most of us don't like it. Most returned with a dual screen setup.
I currently use 2 x 27" (1440p) at home or at the office. It's perfect for what I do. I would love to try 2 x 32" (4K, 16:9) or 1 ultrawide 49" (32:9) which is equal to 2 x 27. One is your main (front) with 1 application full screen, the second one at an angle with 2 or multiple split screen. Personally, I prefer dual or even triple screen over 1 single giant screen. Of course, every one have different need and taste.

@@Ahnestly as a Mac user, Apple only supports 4k 120 using DisplayPort and the new LG UltraGear 48 oled just launch in Taiwan. That makes me want to sell the c1 with 48 ultragear to enjoy the higher resolution.
Enjoy the dual setup video. I really see nothing wrong with visible mouse and keyboard cables. Just spice it up with customs cables that looks nice.

Buy an Audio cable for those Sony speakers to midigate the audio Lag.. Unfortunatelly this is an issue of the Windows OS and to this day only the Logitech Speedlight speakers didn´t give me this lag issue when using wireless (with the Logitech Speedligh dongle) :D .. BTW.. Great video.. Loved your dynamic together.

I haven't had a graphics card for years!!! Currently I'm still running my i7-4790K and it handles my Full HD monitor fine!
Actually, I think it can do 2 x 4K, but once I upgrade I can theoreticly run a 4 x 4K desktop of my Intel APU.
It's really not just a CPU anymore. Thank god. In this day and age you're better off without a graphics card. Just buy a PlayStation 5.

I see that your desks are right next to each other. First of all, suuuper cute. But I'm wondering something, how do you guys handle work calls when you have someone next to you? Do you ever have each other having calls at the same time? What happens then? (I ask because if I ever get a partner this would be such a nice way to work)

She's the only one who really interacts with people. I'm a full time RUclipsr so I rarely interact with people and have a studio that I go to - I usually edit from this desk when I feel like WFH!
As a person who's recovering from an ACL surgery, my eyes opened so wide when I saw "torn ACL" on the screen, oh the agony, get well soon brother

@@Ahnestly I assume you've chosen to do the surgery, the pain level is different depending on the person, but for younger guys (like us) it'll be easier, compared to like a middle age person.
For me, it wasn't as bad as the internet made it out to be, the 2nd and 3rd days were the worst (about 7/10), but not unbearable, after that the pain and my leg function just got noticeably better everyday, with the help of physical therapy (PT) of course.
You should be able to walk with crutches right after the surgery, I got down to 1 crutch by week 3 and no crutches by week 4, I'm basically back to my normal routine now, except for sport-related stuffs, that'll have to wait 6 more months, I'm logging my experience and will make a reddit post about it in a few day.
The internet is useful for learning about this, but it can also make you paranoid (horror stories get more views, therefore you'll also see it more often), so my advice is to actually stick to what your doctor's tell you to do since you and him are the ones who know the most about your knee; get pre-surgery PT cause that's helpful; be creative about what you'll do during the recovery time, there are plenty of stuffs to do that don't involve your injured leg. Remember that this is a very common injury, so you're absolutely not alone, good luck! you got this!

Lol the reflection is only there bc there's a studio light hitting it! Most days, I keep the back windows closed and the screen is so bright, I get 0 reflections!
