Thanks for the help, This made me able to use the scripts on my Dedicated server, using RE :) Super Helpfull keeping track whats in Boxes :)
I missed that from space Engineers :D
And thank you for taking time to thank me about it. I was waiting so long for a comment like yours. I’m gratified now, knowing a video I made actually helped someone. No cap. I’m serious. Thank you.
Thanks for the video, a great help to understand what is needed to set it up properly. I've already started to use the cargo read out w/ one of my base builds. I think of all the hours I've spent deconstructing bases & ships over the years, this is a true game changer for those who want to have a faster game progression/save time.
Welcome. ASTIC has really change my desire to play Empyrion much more with his script mod. I hope everyone discovers this mod.
That enemy scan screen is easy for me to understand. It's the three spatial co-ordinates, and then it's what I think is the numerical ID of a planet or asteroid.
Thanks for the tip scripts are a funny thing. and there is nothing wrong with your mic maybe it needs a bit more volume but I understood you fine!
Thanks! I hope it was helpful. So many things have change recently but this guide/tips process still works as intended. I really appreciate the feedback.
Here's a fun experiment for you, make it deconstruct it's own item number : )
Some real sudo rm /* energy right here.
thanks for video , is there a video on how to install this on our games ? where ? in mod folder or modloader inside mod folder etc ?
This is manual install only as far as I know.
Download the zip file and unzip it to C:\ \ Steam\steamapps\common\Empyrion - Galactic Survival\Content\Mods, or wherever your Empyrion - Galactic Survival/content/Mods folder is located on your machine. To find the location, go to your Steam Library, Right click Empyrion - Galactic Survival, click “Manage,” and click “browse local files.” From there open the Content folder and inside you will find the Mods folder.
@@GrinningStudios is it the same for the Farmer as well ?
@@Bronco407 I don’t know. What “farmer” are you talking about?
@@GrinningStudios on this guys video he shows a script that hires a farmer ,
ruclips.net/video/h81oiZSPlJ4/видео.htmlsi=BbD0s8Z-JzMbrSfT
did know if we put that in the mod folder as well or is it just in game ?
This is interesting, but two questions:
1) does it work on servers (I am a server admin fora friends only one so i do have file access)
2) are the scripts done in c# or similar?
I know you say you dont want to learn scripting but there are like zero english guides for this lol
Curious if it can be programmed in game the same as space engineers scripts so we can do things like turn stuff on and off via a script when power it low or high etc
Great questions.
1. The script is being run on the Fracture server. Here is their server profile link: empyrion-servers.com/server/55112/
discord link is on those website: www.fracture-online.com/home
ASTIC, the creator of the mod, is an active member in the discord. He has his own section “dev corner “. But you’ll have to join the discord and select a server role to see it I think. In discord, ask Dreadarm if you need help seeing the astic dev channel.
As for question 2, you should ask ASTIC yourself. He is German I think, but he can speak English. Just use easy small sentences.

We got the deconstruct one to work on our server, though the recycle one is giving us issues (the blocks vanish but the resources never go into the container, tried both the one in your steam guide and the one in ASTIC's Github (left a message for him on his thread)
Good to see some english videos of these scripts as (when they work) they are great.
Can I ask, is the recycle script working on your Fracture server?
@@GamingDaveUK sorry, I haven’t played on fracture server in a while. You should ask in the Fracture discord egs-chat channel. Those are the people playing on the server now.
@@GamingDaveUK I read that astic released a patched version on the 1st of January. Not sure if it fixes your problem though. github.com/GitHub-TC/EmpyrionScripting/releases/tag/11.1.16

after some testing and creating an autosort script...
1) Yes it works on servers. Though if you have access to the server files you will have a better time as you can use something called SaveGameScripts and bypass some restrictions and the lcd text limit (not learned how to do that yet)
2) yep c# is supported (yay) but the lcd limit is a pain (i split my script into 6 lcds then had a script re-assemble it onto one lcd which ran it..... again savegamescripts may be the answer to that issue.
Does that destruct script loot as well?
No, you would have to write a seperate script or find one already written for that. If it deconstructs a container with items in it, those items will be lost.
your mic is of poor quality half your word are nearly imposible to understand you should also first tell people WHY would they want it then explain it if you want them to sit trought it
BUT its just my opinion of it im not one to know what is best for other
Thanks. I appreciate the critical assessment.
your headphones are of poor quality, I can understand everything fine.
