- Hello.
I had a few viewers on my twitch stream asking me how I got my ramps and doors on my capital vessel to open and close automatically when I walked near them. So I figured I would make a quick tutorial on how to set up sensors to do just that.

Awesome video. Great help for new players! I was wondering how to get lights to turn off in my base when I am not inside so not to use up power so this is my answer :)
Yes you can create a switch/ sensor near your exit door that will turn them off. Also what I do in large bases/Spacestations/capital vessels is create a group for the custom switches on the main control panel. Name is power saver and have it so when you swicth it to off. Everything except your Refridgerators/Generators/Grav generators/oxygen generators turns off. This will make even the most fuel consuming capital vessel be able to idle for a long time without running out of power. And you also won't have to worry about food in your fridge spoiling this way.
Thank you for the nice compliment. I do need to make a new tutorial and play the game again since it has been updated I heard there are a lot of changes that have been made. Unfortunately Bethesda has infected my soul with all the new stuff they have announced So I have been stuck playing/modding Fallout New Vegas until I can get into the Fallout 76 Beta.

Is it possible to have a motion sensor for the outside, and a switch to manually override inside?
Yes it is.
Are These just normal ramps in the beginning of the Video? I‘m really looking for a nice entrance to my cv... the Boarding ramps i dont like
Yes, they are just the normal CV ramps.
You added the sensors tutorial, You forgot the switches tutorial. Did you put the switches tutorial in another video
The switches work the same way with the exception of editing the area box. I can always make a tutorial for that if you need it though.
