The visuals are so so so stunning! Very Lion King and just beautiful nature. IDK why but I also love watching you guys cook! Thank you for another great video!
Congratulations Crosby. This was incredible. I thought your narrative script was really well done. You obviously put a lot of work into this and it shows. It’s time for Netflix special guys!!!
You've done such an incredibly beautiful job at putting this piece together, Namibia is a place. I have never considered travelling until now, thank you so much for sharing this in such a high-quality way. This deserves waaaaaay more views.
Wow, what an incredible journey through Namibia! The landscapes look absolutly stunning, and you captured it all so well. Really makes me wanna pack my bags and hit the road. Thanks for sharing your adventure and all the tips, super helpful for planning a trip there. Keep up the great work, Crosby!
Definitely your craziest adventure yet! Because of how low density Namibia is, I think only Canada and Australia are less dense, you’re essentially in the desert for days once you leave their main city 😅
No, not Canada and Australia. Only Mongolia is less densely populated than Namibia. 1- Mongolia, 2- Namibia, 3- Australia. Canadas is 10th, after countries like Botswana, Mauritania, Iceland, etc. Actually, Greenland would be the first of the list, however it is not a country as such, but a region that belongs to a country (Denmark).
I am amazed by this video! I really enjoyed the storytelling in this one. Namibia looked like quite the adventure with so many incredible moments. I'm glad it was such an epic adventure!
I have been obsessed by Namibia for years now, you are so right about the 10 day's not being enough. I'm thinking about moving from Europe to there, away from it all. You should have visited houses there, German knowhow, big and beautyfull AND so cheap!!! The fact they speak German and English is a plus also.
I never heard of Namibia until now so it was great to see a place that is more remote and not so popular. I like how the experience was enhanced by being disconnected from technology so you really get to be present in the moment. Great job on the video!
Again, your video begins like a motion picture, awesome! That hidden water was a great spot, everything around it looked so rugged . It is so desolate and beautiful there, like no place else on earth, and unearthly. I saw that you were all barefoot on the clay surface, was it hot? Such a wonderful video and well narrated!
So glad you enjoyed it!! The clay was surprisingly not hot at all but the sand definitely was by midday! We were there in Namibian winter so it gets way hotter in the summer
I enjoy your adventures Crosby, Namibia holds a particular place in my heart as I lived there for a time albeit 26 years ago now. By the way, the animals featured that drank at night are Gemsbok. Looking forward to your next video, From New Zealand.
I thought I was watching a Yes Theory video for a minute there! Very well done, and the only video I've seen about Namibia that wasn't a surf video of Skeleton Bay!
Those were oryx (gemsbok in Afrikaans) and not kudu (which you'll never find in the desert) 😊. As for leaving your comfort zone, you took every possible portable modcon with you! Glad you enjoyed it; South Africans go there regularly😁
Had to look this country up on my globe. You got guts girl traveling to such a desolate place. Almost like a National Geographic episode in some ways. Well done Crosby.
I was looking for this comment. No offence but what does the rest of the world teach when it comes to geography? As a Namibian, I always look at you guys and feel pity, because wow, it's mind boggling to see the so called developed countries calling themselves that yet they know nothing about the outside world. As for African Americans (my sister's and brothers), they've been completely brainwashed, and my heart breaks for them every time. I hope they realise it in due course that the African continent is the golden heart of the world. Magical, rich and beautiful. Otherwise, Namibia welcomes everyone to visit. As long as visitors mean we'll and will leave us in our peaceful land just as they found us chilling, at peace and minding our business in a vast land.
@@CrosbyGraceTravels With all due respect, this is not shaming people but just the truth (you know the truth cuts deeper right). And this is nothing compared to the things people who aren't African think or say about Africa. "If you're going to Africa, get vaccinated, there are many diseases there. "Africa is poor, people don't even have houses, but live in caves, and they're dying of hunger." "Africa doesn't have clean water and sanitation. " And the most hilarious one, please don't go to Africa, wild animals are everywhere and they will attack you!" Are we even considered human beings? Until the so called developed countries stand up and educate their people and also value us as human beings, we will continue to remind those so called developed countries of how close minded they're. And your BONUS! You're welcome to delete my so called shaming people comment! Psst! I'm a native African, deleting it will do me absolutely no harm. In fact, it will just prove my point, that the world outside Mother Africa isn't open to value us as human beings yet ( yes we are hopeful and forgiving people). 🥂
Amazing video...one of your best! What were temps like? Do you have to plan in detail, where to get gas? You looked like supermodel on the lake bed with the petrified trees....
Thanks so much!! I was there in June and temps were very hot during the day (80-90F) but cooled off a ton at night (40-50F). We were in tank tops during the day and jackets at night!
I plan on visiting in 60 days. What would you say is a good budget for food , and gas etc. I’d like to keep it budget friendly so I plan on renting a similar truck.
Pleeeeeaaaaaase Cosby, before you conclude your trip, just know that more than 2 third of Namibia is greeneries and rivers, waterfalls, tropical rain forest, infact "the tropic of Capricorn is through here... Wamboland crystal clear white sand, Zambezi Eden-like with free-looming wildlife, Damara land with her snow white stones/gravels ... The list is long, and thats why we don't move an inch from home😂, welcome to Namibia ❤❤ #But Namibia is not just desert and Ocean beauty, that's why in our National Anthem: "... Contrasting beautiful Namibia, Namibia... Perhaps you plan another trip 😅
