I admire people who can sculp, digitally or otherwise. I've been drawing since I was a little kid, so I have an amateurish grasp of 2D manipulation. But the one time I tried to make something in 3D I was completely out of my element. As an experiment it helped me get a better feel for working with solid shapes to combine and create newer refined shapes, but ultimately the entire endeavor is beyond me.
The hair is consistently my favorite part about your sculpt, along with the cleanliness! I personally think the face was a little too withered around the cheekbones on this one, but the sculpt took you 3 hours and it’s inspiring how quickly you can get a polished sculpt done
Speak the true, Folly, you started the challenge a few days before October, no one is so fast to sculpt that way... Well, is that or you don't sleep. Btw, is great how it turned at the end with the skull makeup.
I did start a little early incase something were to come up to where I couldn't sculpt one day (because I would like to do all 31). But I am still doing these one a day. You can check how much time I spend on them in the description. Averaging about 3 hours or so. No tricks here.
I would like to see a redraw if something like jack skeleton or something like that to pull you out of your comfort zone of normal looking things and get you to try and do something new and let you just go all out and have fun.
Hi I'm having a bit of problems in zbrush! I'm saving up to get your course but for now if you could answer a few questions that would be great♡ So first off,, i cant seem to blend my pieces of geometry together even after merging them together. It just kinda dissapears when I smooth things out. And second off, I'm having a lot of problems with exporting the finished product into blender. Blender is a bit better at rendering and I think you think so too. But blender keeps crashing when I import it, and now im having problems with zbrush crashing when I'm exporting it in curtain formats :(
i can help you for you first problem. After merging them together you have to dynamesh your mesh after for the merging to be and after that your mesh should be working as intended
@@KennyTheKiwi go to your tool menu, click on the geometry option and you should see the button Dynamesh in the Dynamesh option. After that you can chose your Dynamesh resolution. going from 1 (the lowest resolution) to how much you want. But the more resolution you put onto your mesh the more dense it becomes and the heavier your file become too. So it can slow down your computer if you go too ham on it. Hope I could help!
You have inspired me when you changed your workflow to make almost a skeleton head. Why you don't make a stylized skull I never saw that and maybe some muscles and fat pads too. Plz, and nice work by the way.

@@Follygon hope you have a great day. I love it when creaters respond to comments
What's this program and how does it compare to blender? I've been trying and failing to get the hang of 3d animation lol

I love it ist so creepy but i love
I want to do this so bad, but I fear the learning curve of digital sculpting vs. traditional lol. You make it look effortless😊
You can do it!
