Using aileron in the stall and approach to stall is super dangerous dude, that gets people killed. Stall and approach to stall ailerons should always be neutral, use slight rudder inputs to keep the wings level. That’s how you drop a wing and it’s how people end up spinning in the circuit.
@ it’s not your fault brother, it’s that of your flight instructor and his flight instructor and that instructors instructor. Stay safe and fly safe bro 🤘
Concur. Cessnas are particularly prone to this and particularly with flap out. I learned to fly in a Cessna 150 in 1972, and my instructor took great pains to demonstrate this to me.
Not sure I agree with you here. You approach the stall with wings level and if you go into the stall and have a wing drop, you would use the rudder to pick up the wing. I didn’t see him use aileron. On a big jet you would unload with ailerons .. slightly different. A wing drop on a Cessna isn’t too much of an issue, as it’s a fairly stable aircraft. You have to really hold it into the stall, Something like a tomahawk used to provide a nasty spin. I think he’s flying a 150/152? Or is it a 172? Try practising approach to stall, then keep it in the stall and pick up The wing with your rudder. It’s called incipient spin. Don’t go into the full spin, just practice wings level (with aileron) as you approach the stall. Controls neutral in the stall, but get the wing drop then use the rudder to pick up the wing…obviously pushing forward on the yoke to regain lift and speed.
