Jay White is hands down one of the best wrestlers in the world right now. And since AEW introduced Collision, Jay White is becoming a top guy in AEW. His NJPW career has been impressive, a successful gaijin, who after conquering Japan, is ready to be Elite.
Filling the shoes of Omega was never the point. It was to take it back to the path set by Devitt, Styles, and Machine Gun, and push that direction forward. Tama Tonga literally spelled it out DURING the Firing Squad arc.
In my opinion, David Finlay NEVER took over Bullet Club. He's just a weak front, while Gedo is the one pulling the strings (i.e., forming the War Dogs). *Jay White* is who people discuss Collision and Bullet Club Gold. Whichever AEW babyface or tweener who ends the reign of MJF by 2024, TK & the staff should consider White as a good choice to be the next top heel champion.
I thought the same. . If and still a big IF, MJF leaves Let Jay take the belt. I know Adam Cole is next up for the belt challenge. But Cole IMO is not a belt holder yet. Let MJF have the belt until he makes choice where he is going or staying. Jay would take this belt and make it more interesting. He has a Group he has THAT thing that would make him a top Belt holder easily.
He's a weak front for western fans, he's gotten himself pretty over here in Japan, and obviously...NJPW don't plan their stuff for the western fanbase. Jay White had majority of doubters during his early days too, and despite Jay being more talented and just overall a better wrestler and entertainer, Finlay is cool for what NJPW can do (not a lot). But yeah, in kayfabe, Gedo is the one pulling the strings, just like Bad Luck Fale was the one pulling the strings after Devitt "left".
I remember seeing Jay White while watching ROH as a teenager and thinking "Dang man, this guy's gonna be something when he returns from excursion" and I'm glad that prediction was correct. BC Gold has been my favorite part of Collision as of late, even overtaking Punk so there's an amazing sign of him and the rest of the group doing great work.

I honestly love how so many mainstream wrestling fans have literally no clue how complex a character Jay White is and what a subtle compelling storyteller he can be. Mark my words, this guy is gonna be matching Punk and MJF once he gets a proper main event storyline.
Thats why pairing him and Juice with Punk and FTR has been a master stroke. It gave them a chance to shine with some of the biggest stars and they havent dissapointed.
Also, the way he left NJPW professionally, making sure to not burn any bridges between NJPW and AEW, was absolute class. AEW didn’t want to sign the ppl away from partners, but absolute props to NJPW for doing good business and to Jay White for being the CATALYST to make it happen
I was so glad and so impressed that Jay transplanted to AEW with his Switchblade persona intact - same name, music, entrance, slashmarked tights, the whole deal. It showed me that Tony respects the work Jay has done in growing and establishing his image (zero chance WWE would have shown him that courtesy) and would not make him start over from scratch. Now that he's getting more microphone time and building a great tag team run with Juice I agree the sky is the limit for him in AEW.

I have loved this man since he can back as the switchblade the way he moves like a snake,he wrestles so differently from everyone in njpw. He was so beyond his years and very believable
Not to mention that Jay has yet to be pinned or submitted in any match at all in AEW since his first appearance last year for the promotion; he's being protected to the nth degree. He'll definitely be world champion sometime in 2024.

Jay White is just 30 years of age and he has accomplished so much. He's an underrated legend of NJPW Wrestles like a 20-25 year veteran while he has been in this business for a decade now. Sky is the limit for him. I hope he becomes the first ever AEW grand slam champion. That's going to be another historic record in the era of SWITCHBLADE 🗡️

Kenny likes high flying fast matches with a lot of dives and big spots, whereas Punk prefers a more story heavy match that is slower. and the promos wont be great because it'd be completely 1 sided and likely wouldnt feature any of the stuff we want to hear because they likely signed an NDA. Punk Vs Jay White however? Both are good on the mic, even if White needs a bit of work. their wrestling style complements each other and when theyve been in the ring with each other theyve shown chemistry.

Thank You for letting us know (some, Well, Mostly) Why he is called All of those names! 🙌🙏 His Story before All Elite Wrestling is the most intriguing, a lesson to learn on how one can rise to the top within a short amount of time, rising with the likes of the Gods of NJPW Kazuchika Okada, Hiroshi Tanahashi, among others, and being the Best... A Chaos faction member and the Bullet Club Leader fill up a great void of The Elite leaving to start AEW and running with the ball... Forbidden Door 1 was, in a sense, actually presented to a wide Western audience, & he found a profound place to leave his legacy where he set foot at the greatest possible time of the year! And the rest is what we are seeing here in AEW, with Collision, he has the time, place, & possibly everything to do what he does best, and we can watch all of that & enjoy it.
You know if Jay went to WWE, they would probably give him a gimmick that just didn't suit him at all. Collision is Jay's home and I was so happy when I found he was all elite. They need to take there time with him and give him a main event story push.

Jay White has quickly become my No. 1 favorite wrestler. I was always a fan of his work in NJPW. But now that ive been able to watch him weekly on American Television, ive found a new appreciation for his work.
Jay White must go to WWE if AEW and Tony Khan don't get their act together in booking him correctly. Jay needs to win the AEW World title Next year at Full Gear 2025 to redeem him.
I'm optimistic for Bullet Club Gold but I feel like at this point in time Juice and the Guns are glorified enforcers for Jay White. Juice almost always takes the fall whenever it's him and Jay tagging and as much as I like the Guns it's hard to take them seriously when their characters are basically entitled kids who think they're much greater and bigger than they are. BCG needs one more big heel name to really fill out the team.
I don't have time to watch all the wrestling there is out there. So I can't keep up on all these guys coming to Murica. I appreciate these videos for their educational purposes.

Jay White must go to WWE if AEW and Tony Khan don't get their act together in booking him correctly. Jay needs to win the AEW World title Next year at Full Gear 2025 to redeem him.
I'm optimistic for Bullet Club Gold but I feel like at this point in time Juice and the Guns are glorified enforcers for Jay White. Juice almost always takes the fall whenever it's him and Jay tagging and as much as I like the Guns it's hard to take them seriously when their characters are basically entitled kids who think they're much greater and bigger than they are. BCG needs one more big heel name to really fill out the team.

@@richborn6700 there is good reason for that. These RUclipsrs and twitch streamers used to fully upload animes and seat unmoved. But tv asahi have every right to block him. New japanese copyright laws are strict. Real neat puro and that other guy were too good back then . These 2 channel bought more fans to njpw then jericho or elite did.
I came here to say this as well, it's totally ridiculous, but tv asahi has given out strikes even for the use of still images. I love your channel and I wish we could have more fan content about njpw, but definitely be careful about covering them too often.
