- Learn exactly how to use important words to explain why or how something happened in English. Whether you are a student or working, you will be expected to give explanations using cause and effect vocabulary. We frequently use cause and effect vocabulary in writing and conversation. In this English vocabulary class, I will teach you key vocabulary to show cause and effect including words like “so”, “because of”, “since”, “as a result”, “consequently”, “hence”, “thus”, and “therefore”. You may know these words already, but I will show you exactly when to use each one and how to use each one.
