Ziggyrul3z go the K04 route and you’ll only miss the r32 for the AWD and the sound. Trust me I know lol but you’re right the sound is unmatched..

what happend
I had to many cars and my friend needed a car as he was in a bad place, so I gave it to him best thing I've done, but miss it regardless he has made it look awesome now though so glad he has it.
great video Hamza , you and Romeo can't stop grinning from ear to ear, and will never grow tired of that R32 sound , I would still prefer 3 pedals over DSG

It does sound good. They might have the head from the 3.2 on it. I hear it flows better. Seems ironic but that is what I heard

I think I met Romeo last July at Calais ferry terminal, he was in this and had a mate with his Mk 4 R32 turbo and they were coming back from the ring! Apologies if it was someone else. Had a little chat with him a out my old charged Mk 5 R32, top guy

I can tell you the differnce usually they come stock 230kws im pretty sure! I had a tune in my r36 wagon im on 294kws! With only a stage 1 tune. Mate told me a r32 would need a stage 3 to get close to that power with tune and a few other mods, while the r36 engine already was build with stronger internals.

@@ThePenSketch the GTI biturbo in had that setup of the 3.6L. Something like 740 horsepower.
rhinoskin extraboss Done already by HGP Motorsport in Germany. Swapped these in Golf 6 and 7R’s. You also get the 7-speed DSG that comes in the Passat.

A technical breakdown of the R32 vs the R36 might be interesting. Like is it just the Rotating assembly (Crank, Rods, Pistons) that are different to the 32? Possibly some headwork as well?
I'm not sure tbh all I know is that the r32 is a 3.2L and the r36 is a 3.6L. The r36 might have stronger internals tbh

Awesome car. Not sure what he meant by 80-90% one side. Haldex is in the rear diff, so the most you can do is fully lock it, which means it isn't possible to send more than 50% of the power to the rear tires.
Engineering Explained talks about this in the 2022 Golf R video. In the last few minutes of the video he refers to these FWD based AWD systems and how complicated it is to determine front/rear torque split for them.

Sweet car! The Mk5 R32 was never offered as a manual here in the U.S. I know this one is a DSG but I think if it were a manual it would make it even more fun to drive.
Ive got an r36 and i do love that engine. In a golf , its going to be epic.
I love this car! Props to Romeo and Kev for making this a reality! Such a shame we don't have the R36 in the states. I currently have a MK5 Jetta with the inline 5, and it shares the same low growl/throaty sound as a VR6. It sounds very identical to the RS3/TTRS. Seriously though, that is an awesome R36 build!
You can get a 3.6 vr6 from a passat. Which I think that is what he did.
@@ninjatechauto655 I believe the R36 and regular 3.6 VR6 motors are slightly different. Also, the R36 is offered with a DSG transmission rather than the slush-box standard automatics.
@@andre100BNSF the passat 3.6 comes with a DSG, the DQ250. It just doesn't come with 4-motion. I think the r36 might have stronger pistons and a stronger crank, I'm not sure tbh. I have a passat 3.6 and I love it, I just hate that it doesn't come with 4-motion.
