- Meet Kieran and his incredible MK4 Golf R32 build - running 500BHP thanks to a Supercharger kit, along with a super rare DSG swap! Whilst the MK4 R32s were available in DSG, they were never produced for the UK market, hence why this car is so special as all OEM left-hand drive parts were supplied and retro fitted to this UK right-hand drive car. It's believed that there are only 3 DSG swapped MK4 R32s in the UK. Kieran has owned this car for 18 years, and has covered nearly 150,000 miles in it - how cool is that!

@rashu786 Just as good, my ass lol. With the new EA888 simple bolt on's and a tune will put a football field on a FBO VR6 lol it needs a turbo to compete, and even then an E85 MK7 will still beat it, especially with DSG.
@rashu786 Also the MK4 interior is garbage the MK7+ interiors are Audi quality.
@@bryzeer5075 that’s what I’m saying sound wise you can’t beat it performance wise no competition hence why I said it was sluggish. Obviously as time goes on technology improves but I still think those Konig seats look amazing

Love a vr6, I'm building my new project at the moment. But its a lupo gti, but I'm going for a v5 or vr5 swap with a mk4 gti box to start and looking into a audi s3 dsg as im told it'll work with the vr5 but wither it'll fit is another thing. Fully forged build turbo in the boot as it won't fit under the bonnet, you know the usual.

I've had 2 boosted mk4 r32s as you know, 3 edition 30s , 1 mk6r 1 mk7r , I've had 4 bikes since passing my test last December, currently own a 1200cc ducati panigale 1199s and a 1000cc cbr fireblade.
Any change finding out what the supercharger build cost beautiful r32 build looking how clean it was never tho done that sort miles even tho still not bad miles good know gets driven and its not trailer queen

why doesn't it have the dsg shift noise the newer models have ?
Has to do with the momentary spark cut. I think the R32s did not have this feature. However, you can code a custom tune that enables you to do so. It won’t sound be that distinct fart, but at least it’s something

@@TorpedoStudios yeh.... i have but it domt take a driver to drive one ....also i dont class 500 bhp as high powered now days . Clearly gear change is as an advantage on a performance level but thats not what im saying is it im talking about the fun side od it . Any old fool can drive an auto/dsg.
@@tomcoxon3520 Well let me tell you it is fun but in another way with the supercharger it's quite dull but i have had my vr5 turbo in manual it was just a horrible expierence compared after the dsg swap it almost seems like there is no interuption in power it keeps pulling as it was electric that's the fun side but i've you've never expierenced it i couldn't blame you

@@TorpedoStudios nah i drove both turbo and supercharged 3.2 manual and dsg . I had dsg with a borg s300 series turbo . Just bored me compared to the manual . Dsg was on emu black ecu . Was rapid just took fun out of it for me thats all

Love it, could you ask the owner confirm what mudflats they are? Assume oem mk4 gti made to fit?
Can you get the owner to confirm the mudflaps are they gti front and rear?
I think they were Standard MKIV mudflaps, had to cut them to fit around the skirts,
