    Thanks for the vid! Fun fact if you weren't aware: any character can use any crafting bench to access their bank / materials. Just noticed you screen hopping to reach the actual bank vendor but you can do so even more easily by just going to the nearest crafting bench. Cheers!

      Great point about the crafting stations! I do use them sometimes but out of shear habit I often just go to the specific bank NPC. Great timesaver though haha.

    i keep the green and yellow medaillons, the green ones get in the mystic forge then i have a number of them - to my knowledge you are allowed to use a autoclicker for that - and the yellow ones can be transformed amalgamated gemstones with 3x25 + ectos, instead of selling instantly. I also salvage most exotics, after checking if some are expensive (close to 1g ot more.), otherwise some more ectos :) might not be minmaxing though

    • @connorconcarne
      @connorconcarne  Год назад

      Great point on medallions. There are so many ways you can min-max what you do with items/materials. I even just got the infinite upgrade extractor on my main account to process unidentified gear even more efficiently. You always have to make the call about how much your time is worth in terms of processing items though.

    A cool trick I have is to keep the unidentified gear on a shared inventory slot. I wait till it reaches 250 before opening them, while dealing with the random normal gear I get. Cheers for the video!

    • @connorconcarne
      @connorconcarne  Год назад

      That's a great idea. If I had more shared inventory slots I'd do that regularly as well.

    • @Pauete007

      @@tacticallemon7518 You'll oftentimes get rarer gear if you open them (I mostly do it with Uncommon and Rare unidentified gear, to get more ectos)

    Selling an exotic for less than the cost of an Ecto (after the TP takes its cut) seems like a bad idea since salvaging an exotic almost always gives at least one ecto plus other items.
    Also, deleting the map "currencies" (ley line sparks, etc) from HoT was shocking to me. I guess you're not a completionist?

    • @connorconcarne
      @connorconcarne  Год назад

      Good point about selling exotics compared to salvaging. I've got all 3 sets of raid legendary armor and a handful of HoT legendaries (with a full material storage of them), so no idea what I'd actually use them on in the near future haha.

    I'm new to the game. There are so many items in game that I'm afraid to accidentally salvage something that's useful. Any tips on that issue? Do you just salvage every thing "rare" and below?

    • @connorconcarne
      @connorconcarne  Месяц назад +1

      Welcome! True there are loads of items to consider. At least for gear, you can basically salvage or sell anything you get. Once you get a build at level 80 geared up in exotics, nothing that drops for you regularly will outclass it. For collection items, if you see the text 'this item only has value as part of a collection' you can safely delete it. When in doubt, you can always type /wiki "the item" in the game chat and it will open the wiki page and tell you what it's used for. You can also Shift+Click the item in game to automatically paste it in the chat window.

    While this video was long, I feel it's more of how you manage inventory on a fully maxed out account, vs useful inventory tricks for a new or returning player.

    • @connorconcarne
      @connorconcarne  Год назад

      That's a fair point. A lot of these things I still apply to my newer EU account as well. I'll need to recreate this video on my partner's account as well haha.

    This is helpfull to an extent, unfortunately nothing seems to address the amount of time sorting and processing all the junk takes up which is one of my major bugbears in the game. I keep starting but get fed up and go play something else instead. Do i loose much be just selling everythg without all the processing?

    So for collection, I can't destroy em?

    • @ShinigamiKristak
      @ShinigamiKristak Месяц назад

      It depends on the collection. For example, for the Bifrost collection that was shown, some of those items need to be converted into others at a special place. Other than that, if the item has a sell price, it can be safely sold to merchants. Usually, if an item without a sell price is about to be deleted, two prompts might appear: if it ask you to type the name of the item in order to delete it, it means that you need to keep it for later, otherwise deleting it won't be a problem.

    8:20 - Consume all Luck -> A friend of mine told me to store the Luck for later. Since then I never consumed the luck and stored it in my bank instead.
    Is this smart? It currently takes a lot of space ^^

    • @connorconcarne
      @connorconcarne  4 месяца назад +1

      It can be nice to hold onto luck especially if you're crafting Gen 3 legendary weapons which need quite a bit of it. To save on space you can combine them with an Artificer into exotic luck items which take up less space. If I know I'm going for a Gen 3 legendary sometime soon I'll hold onto my luck for a while.
