I think it's worth noting whenever home instance and guild hall comes up that most of the profit from much of what you gather is going to come from volatile magic gathering tools, not the random carrot or green wood or whatever. Not to say there aren't valuable things in there, but if you don't have gathering tools that give you bonus materials on harvest, the value of a lot of the nodes in there goes down a lot.
i love gathering nodes with my recently purchased volatile tools, ive even have bought eternal crystal node for my home instance for 50g 😂 Thanks! for the other players home instance info. Great
@@connorconcarne I’ve already parked alts in Bjora and Crystal oasis. Now I’m missing EOD. I have another alt for it. Wouldn’t have done it without your help
new player, played a week on a free account in february, and a little more than a week now after getting PoF and HoT on steam sale. the most confusing thing for me is all those different currencies that probably can be exchanged for other currencies that probably can be exchanged for gold. it's really overwhelming. even with wintersday event now, i need multiples of different currencies to get event things now and then it turns out those cost really huge amounts of gold and it's just endless confusion of am i doing something wrong am i supposed to be getting more somehow? currently my main gold making method is selling materials from playing and also selling mystic coins and buying gold bags from wizard vault. all this "parking alts" and "homestead farming" stuff sound foreign to me haha even to the point of "how do i get to someone's home instance" or "how do squads & instanced content work"
Haha seems you got dropped into the deep end. Take it slow since this vid is kinda advanced. Find a beginner's guide 1st and once you get comfy that's when you start looking up or ask in chat what you can do with alt currencies. Gw2 isn't really friendly with that sort of thing.
I use my second account to play with friends on EU rather than NA. Plus it's true, I've not quite done 'everything' on my NA account but after 10,000 hours I have far less to do outside of farming gold for convenience items.
Play content you like yes try to grab gold generating actions while playing it. However don't stress too much when you are still far from amount of gold for whatever you need. For missing amount, the most effective way to get gold - faaar outperforming any in-game activities is real life job. I live in eastern europe and based on avarage pay here it's like I don't know ... 250g/h? I can only imagine in western europe or usa it's like... 1000g/h? more? It's just logic - value your time :)
This is probably the worst way to earn gold with your personal garden. You should look at crafting and gathering ascended cooking materials. With the right glyph, you can go up to 12g a day for the garden only.
Why farm golds in GW2 if you cant buy ascended gear? how do you use a lot of golds? and even having a legendary armor set, the stats are not the same of the ascended gear?
ascended still requires mats to craft or obviously currencies and gold to farm outside of a few different methods which there are plenty of videos covering, the stats are the same, if you only play one class and one or two builds, gold is actually a bit useless other than for shiny things, if you want legendary weapons+armor then gold you're going to need a lot of. Same stats as ascended but legendary armor allows you to select any stat combination and time and one piece of legendary armor or a weapon is usable by all characters on your account, so for example if you gain legendary armor + runes + trinkets + sigils and a few weapons you can change your entire build to any stat combo any time across any character that can use that armor and weapon. Gold is really just an in between for you to buy certain materials you might be missing etc to finish crafting legendaries either to use or to sell AND for shiny stuff, if you are happy on a build and a class and dont want to change things up, you can enjoy saving your gold for other things as ascended will do the exact same thing for you stat wise
You can still buy consumables to further increase your stats (which is nice for raids and harder Fractals), and convert gold to gems to buy gemstore QoL items. Legendaries are more for the skins and QoL. They're available for all characters (as long as they can equip it, of course) and lets you change stats, runes and sigils freely. You can also transmute them for free. So if you only play a single character with only one build, they won't have much value; but it does open possibilities. I found myself experimenting much more after I made my legendaries.
Good question. Just the legendaries I'm currently working on need about 10k gold worth of materials. Gold is basically just a step towards buying the materials you need for all manner of things. Not to mention you can convert gold to gems and just get anything you want from the gem store without having to spend real money.
Now i understood , thank you fornthe answers. Btw i have another question, if i would craft a legendsry weapon gen 3 , have i to do and complete achievements in end of dragons map?
@@edoardobrunori481 I'd suggest looking at the wiki page for what you need to craft them, but yes essentially, you'll need associated map currencies for crafting almost all legendary so like this video highlighted, having a few alts parked at the daily repeatable events helps, or you can run some of the meta events daily, its not as much achievements as you need to do events or daily events for the currencies, there are some exceptions to this rule, the wiki should help, for example obsidian armor you need to get all the lanterns in SOTO maps done if I recall correctly
Great content, as always! Just a quick off-topic question: I have a SafePal wallet with USDT, and I have the seed phrase. (alarm fetch churn bridge exercise tape speak race clerk couch crater letter). How can I transfer them to Binance?
This video is more targeted towards people who already have the story completed, lots of alts and crafters leveled. For a truly new player who just hit level 80 most of the resources go into the griffon, skyscale, ascended gear, infusions, dyes or buying character/bank/gathering tools. You basicly make zero profit because you're gated behind an 800hr story, important QoL unlocks or only having 1 character. It annoys me that most of gold farm videos assume that you already have 1500 hours+ in the game.

Fishing in Domain of Kourna is also nice and easy way to farm gold.
True, fishing is a very nice source of gold. I really need to dive into it at some point.
Sadly lo ked behind another expansion lol
Thankyou sooo much for the guide ❤

Thanks mate 🙂 I really appreciate it!

5:12 the Memory of Aurene cost will most likely cut into your profit
They do cut into it but even still it's a nice source of profit. The profit estimate assume you need to buy everything.

Funding your second account?! is this something you do to create more "fun" for yourself once you already have everything for your first account? 🤯

and if wvw is your main gamemode: no gold for you!!
Can confirm, works, swimming in legendaries.
You are not real! Ahahahah
Can also confirm it works... Soon to be swimming in legendaries on EU haha
does the last one really give gold? I have the feeling it just evens out / getting less gold if I buy the keys+chests :/
Yep it still does, just make sure you place buy orders for the fractal encryptions and only buy the deeply discounted keys (the first 30 each day).
what´s the pet at 0:25 ?
