Reason why Gasol didnt contest Kgs first dunk was that he thought kg took 3 steps and a rookie P gasol was used to european rules, That would have been called a travel 99 times out of 100 in europe.

Gasol was a rookie during the 01-02 season, not the 03-04 season.
Still you can tell he was expecting kg to have established position but kg sneaked a 1,5 extra step on him.
