Sounds great ! in my Opinion, i can't get with that slow down and ramp up times for the Rotosonic. You can hear it and growing up in age with the 122, 147 Leslies of the 60 & 70's, it's not authentic with tradition. I had a Leslie HL 722 ( same as the 715 ) and I would use the Leslie for my Digital Synth set up w/ 2 stereo small Speakers and it sounded beautiful using ONLY the slow speed on the Leslie. The Leslie has a lot of Power which is so cool !!!
Leslies can sometimes be factory wired per organ manufacturer's specifications for specific speaker outputs such as reverb, percussion or special effects. Thus a Leslie-715C might be specially wired for Conn Organs; or, a Leslie-715R might be specific to Rogers Organs. Hope this helps.... John
Will the 715 Leslie speaker connect to an old A100 // I have an old organ but the speaker sounds like a tin can , and a Leslie 122 seems impossible to find . Will a 715 work as well concerning the connection?
Yes, the 715 will work, but you'll need a connection kit. The easiest Leslie to connect to the A100 is the 145/147 "universal" Leslie. I'm in the Sacrament, CA, area. Cheers ! - John's Hammonds
