    Good job on the repairs...the rig really sounds good and smooth, got good breath and punch. And hats off to your fine playing sir! These are definitely rewarding beasts to work on. It's an important musical legacy to preserve.

      Man!!! When you get a call to work on such iconic instrument, it’s worth pulling out all the stops ( even though the wife wasn’t happy with the budget lol )

    Wow wow wow. Very impressive! Strangely this took me bk to my childhood when I used to watch kids TV and they would take you on a trip somewhere educational like inside a factory and you could see the ins and outs of how certain things were made, and I was so engrossed in the whole process, so thanks for taking me back and making me feel child like again. You are clearly a very very anointed and gifted man of God, may His gifts continue to bless others and yourself forever more 🙏Amen

    Looking forward to more content from you. Love the vintage hammonds and its great people like you are around to still repair and maintain them. 🙂 Nice to play that iconic organ thats featured on loads of recordings over the years. I was stupid enough about 15 years ago to let one slip through my hands at an auction for the measly sum of £400 in light oak and with a Hammond Cabinet. Still haunts me to this day.

    What a privilege to work on such a historical instrument. I recently picked up a D-152 and 122 and absolutely love them... inspired of course by Abbey Road's RT3 / 122 combo. Great work on the Hey Jude rendition, too!

    I'm also imagining whether this is the Leslie they piped Lennon's Tomorrow Never Knows vocal through... or a bottle of wine resonating and rattling away on at the end of Long Long Long on the White album...

    Sounds great, what all did you need to do to wake it up? I'm not hearing any usage of the pedal solo system, is it functional?

    • @bishopbrad2918
      @bishopbrad2918 Год назад +1

      … It was an extensive job in changing a lot of the components and carrying out repairs. If you listen to my rendition of “Hey Jude” towards the end ( with headphones) you’ll hear the bass pedals in full effect
