I wonder if one used an electronic crossover to isolate the frequency bands that you want to go to a Leslie and redirect the other band of frequencies to a flat non Leslie amp. One could alternatively use the Source Audio EQ2 stereo parametric equalizer to separate the frequencies bands redirecting them the the appropriate amp/Leslie set up. (Crossover or EQ2 or both?) The EQ2 has a powerful PC app (maybe mac too) that can separate these bands. Since the center frequencies of each band can be modified, one could turn one of the stereo sides into a mid range band pass equalizer. There are a lot of possibilities. One could even substitute a ventilator Leslie simulator pedal for the tube Leslie for testing this. Oh the hunt for tone, what an affliction!
So I am buying on a budget and trying to self teach both playing and doing the interfacing between what I've bought. So it sounds like the equipment was cheap for a reason. M-3 $100 and a Leslie 205 for $400. So any direction on how to do a simple interface that gives a classic sound. I'm enjoying your channel.
How would you describe the 51/251 and RV models? These are also two channel Leslie's but they match perfect to Hammond's with separate reverb channel such as the M-100 and A-100 series.
