So fucked up that they tortured there civilians every single day just because, in fact the sons were notorious for making there victims drink lighter fluid and pumping tracers into the belly just to see what would happen. And it doesnt stop there, in fact Saddam has gassed his own people before, also using it in a war with iran prior, killing thousands of innocents and thousands of soldiers. That was the real attoricites, we went to war for three reasons, one of which was the Chemicals weapons that the sadistic fuck had and was ready to sell, but when it took over a year to finnaly invade iraq, Sadam dismantled the facilities where the chemicals were made which was the only thing we didnt find on the invasion. Now if you are one of the typical anti american children who love to spew out the utter bullshit that we went for oil then you are not only high, but have symptoms of a mental disability. Since the United States was "founded" in 1776, "our" country has been at war during 217 out of its 238 calendar years of existence. In other words, there were only 21 calendar years in which the U.S. did not wage any wars. To put this in perspective: -Pick any year since 1776 and there is about a 91% chance that America was involved in some war during that calendar year. -No U.S. president truly qualifies as a peacetime president. Instead, all U.S. presidents can technically be considered “war presidents.” -The U.S. has never gone a decade without war. -The only time the U.S. went five years without war (1935-40) was during the isolationist period of the Great Depression. Yesterday was the war in Iraq, today we are fighting in Afghanistan... Who's next? Iran? Somalia?... PS: FUCK the military-industrial complex.

My cousin was a Marine sniper who attended Kyle’s funeral. He said the hardest part was not crying as the flag was folded. Chief Kyle was a hero not because he killed so many, but because he did the job nobody else wanted. Remember that the next time you thank a military person for their service. We volunteered for something greater than ourselves, and many paid the highest price for that goal.
Extremely well said. If I may add... Something that I think gets lost in the hustle & bustle of today's society is we forget just how much almost ALL military members really sacrifice, even if not wounded or killed in service of the nation (this probably applies to most nations) - Excessive time away from family & friends - Missing birthdays, weddings, funerals, special days, anniversaries, etc The amount of time military folks are away from home for training courses, local exercises, joint/international exercises, pre-deployment training, then deployed for a year at a time, instructing on courses, etc etc is more than most people realize... They dont just sacrifice limbs, brain functions, physical ability to do various things or play sports, or sacrifice their vision & hearing. Or sacrifice their life. They sacrifice A LOT even if they aren't deployed & are very much alive. So the next time you thank a veteran, just keep in mind that they sacrifice a lot more than most people realize ❤️

It wasn’t until I was discharged a few years later that I told my family about it. They’ve never asked me to repeat it. That was the job. It’s what we do. We didn’t ask for thanks or medals. Coming home to our families and knowing they’d never have to experience the same things….that was rewarding enough. I tell civilians every day to enjoy what they have and make the most of it. +Advocacy Of The Devil what kid did he kill? Are you referring to the movie? Because that kill was strictly Hollywood, not him. His first kill was the woman because she was about to throw a grenade into a convoy of marines.
Chris Kyle was the “Stephen Glass” of the military. He told fabricated story after fabricated story and passed them all off as fact, when they were works of fiction. Mr. Kyle was especially able to fool people who thought that his story telling was exempt from any type of fact-checking, simply because he was a Navy SEAL. Mr. Kyle’s medal count claim that he wrote in his book was discredited by the United States Department of Navy in 2016. Both the Navy Times and The Intercept reported that Mr. Kyle was warned by Navy personnel that the medal count in his manuscript was wrong and that he needed to correct it before publishing. Mr. Kyle obviously did not do that. Mr. Kyle also claimed that he shot and killed 30 looters from atop the Superdome in New Orleans in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina. Those claims were discredited by both the United States Special Operations Command and Army Lieutenant General Russell Honore. Honore, who ran the ground troops in the Katrina aftermath, described Mr. Kyle’s story as “war story bullshit”. In a 2012 interview with D Magazine, Mr. Kyle claimed that he shot and killed two would be car jackers at a gas station outside of Dallas TX. Kyle claimed the police were on the scene....and that the entire incident was caught on security camera tape. When the story went through a fact-check, all of the documentation that would have existed if the story had been true, was non-existent: There were no police reports, no coroner’s report, no coroner’s inquest, no record from any district attorney’s office in Texas, no surveillance camera tape....and absolutely no newspaper coverage of this ever taking place. As far as the Jesse Ventura story is concerned, HarperCollins, which published Mr. Kyle’s book, “American Sniper”, has since removed the entire chapter entitled, “Punching Out Scruff Face” from the book. The Coronado Police did NOT back up Mr. Kyle’s claims either. Chris Kyle, like Stephen Glass, Alicia ‘Tania’ Head and Jussie Smollett, was a serial fabulist who was able to fool a lot of people who are incapable of fact-checking. “American Sniper”?????? - That title really belongs to Carlos Hathcock, United States Marine Corp.
The greatest sniper of all times was a Finnish sniper during WW2 his name was Simo Häyhä,a guy that had 542 confirmed and 705 unconfirmed kills. The Russians didn't see him coming :)

One reason to subscribe to Conan. Respect. He gave Kyle the respect he earned. And even said "you don't have to call me, sir." Thanks for doing a real interview.
Kyle stated that during Hurricane Katrina, after hearing about the civilian strife in the area, he and another man drove to New Orleans to stop "looters." With sniper rifles, they allegedly travelled to New Orleans and then positioned themselves at a vantage point on top of the city's Mercedes-Benz Superdome. There Kyle claimed they started shooting a number of armed residents or looters, whom they identified as making trouble. Some reports stated that Kyle shot 30 with the other sniper, and others saying he shot 30 by himself. This was never verified, and there was no evidence of dozens of people being slain by a sniper or gunman, with commentators noting that it would be unlikely that 30 people would have been murdered without anyone noticing it or reporting it to the media or the police. Kyle's story had been reported in a number of publications, including the New Yorker, with Kyle relating the story to other military personnel.

Rockin Ray Um, lets look at the real atrocities you dumb child.
Prior to the invasion you had Sadam (i am going to give you a history lesson, so sit back relax, and get ready to be educated child)
Saddam and his sons were really, really, really, really, really, really, really fucked up people.
Now what happened after we invaded and kick Saddams forces ass? Well One of the last things Saddam ordered was for his fellow sunnis to create civil unrest with hit and run tactics. Thus the introduction of AQI who then came in.
Also when you say its propaganda what are you talking about, are you saying that AQI is fake? and i dont "sound like nazi" Your anti american bitch boyness just makes you think that, you probably dont even know what the nazi party translates to (now don't go about looking it up child) You are just one of the typical anti americans steryotypes who have no facts but have a nothing but contempt towards my country and a hero like Chris Kyle, now go back to your basement child and learn before you make shit comments like the ones above.

Since the United States was "founded" in 1776, "our" country has been at war during 217 out of its 238 calendar years of existence. In other words, there were only 21 calendar years in which the U.S. did not wage any wars.
To put this in perspective:
-Pick any year since 1776 and there is about a 91% chance that America was involved in some war during that calendar year.
-No U.S. president truly qualifies as a peacetime president. Instead, all U.S. presidents can technically be considered “war presidents.”
-The U.S. has never gone a decade without war.
-The only time the U.S. went five years without war (1935-40) was during the isolationist period of the Great Depression.

@@don-hc8se basis as to why cooper is a better actor ? Plenty. For starters, just pick up ur brain out of the toilet and do a simple compare contrast. Pratt, who mainly is known for comedic roles, hasn’t shown much chops at all in the more serious roles he’s taken up. Cooper had a similar reputation early in his career and who knows maybe Pratt has that somewhere in him. It just hasn’t been proven on the big screen like Cooper has been. Remember that the next time you thank a military person for their service. We volunteered for something greater than ourselves, and many paid the highest price for that goal.
We volunteer to destroy other countries for our own interests, you mean.
Extremely well said.
If I may add... Something that I think gets lost in the hustle & bustle of today's society is we forget just how much almost ALL military members really sacrifice, even if not wounded or killed in service of the nation (this probably applies to most nations)
- Excessive time away from family & friends
- Missing birthdays, weddings, funerals, special days, anniversaries, etc
The amount of time military folks are away from home for training courses, local exercises, joint/international exercises, pre-deployment training, then deployed for a year at a time, instructing on courses, etc etc is more than most people realize...

I was deployed to the Middle East in October of 2001. My deployment was intended to last only nine months. Circumstances In Afghanistan forced an extended stay and I volunteered for the support relief. It wasn’t until 2003 that I was sent back on mandatory rotation. I spent nearly two years in enemy territory after 9/11. The hardest part was that I was under explicit orders to never discuss my time there with anyone back home.
They don’t want to know what it costs.

One positive thing about Kyle's character which he shows in this interview is his ability at self-deprecation. When he says 'I'm just a monkey with a gun', no one believes that but he's doing it for the audience's entertainment. Brits appreciate this kind of humour. It's generally something which some other cultures, usually but not always Ru ssians, don't understand.
