Ben here! I was def a Bionicle in those pictures put on my birthday banner--I was 8, it's funny to look back. The blowdrier was a Halloween prop Judge Dredd Lawgiver Pistol for when I was Judge Dredd on Halloween. The top shelf used to be transformers, traded it with my Bible collection out of reverence. Thanks for taking a look. "I don't know what you're going for." Yeah me neither! Ha!

Great episode as always. Getting the Dummies together and getting not just a vid, but also NRR with them as well was awesome.
So here's the culprit of the first part.^^
On the living room and then Doom collection: who puts the biggest thing on the bottom? 🤣 The helmet is an eyecatcher and even lights up, but for the rest you are right: things would need more spacing, but then more and bigger stuff would need to come in and I always wanted the 1/6 Doom Slayer, or more Doom from McF, but seemingly Slayer and Marauder and stupid Slayer repaints are all we're getting and the 1/6 is crazy expensive now.
The main room: I LOVE Transformers and that Autobot/Decepticon shelf was exactly that, but I wasn't pleased with it as time moved on.
What I was pleased with, but what didn't make the cut (one of many things, sadly) was my combiner shelf below. A 4x1 Ikea Kallax where Toyworld Constructor, Zeta Superitron and Fans Hobby God Baser was. That was my idea for the space.
Opposite is the MK display (thanks, guys. I needed to shorten it for the new space, but the pit is coming. Round 2, Bobby. 😉) and there's a big part missing, but I'm getting there now.
Cause as a little collection critique critique 😋: you guys missed half. (to be fair, not everything can be talked about) I had a hyper clean Nolan Bats display in my living room, where the Doom collection also is, plus a God Of War collection in there too.
And in the main room, besides the MK collection is a 4x2 Ikea Kallax with 1/6 Hulkbuster, 01 Cell, 1/6 Hulk and a bit of M.A.S.K., plus a corner detolf and inside this space is a couch, plus Detolfs at the start, to the left, where I actually spaced out stuff well, like my 2 SOC Voltron, with additional acrylic bottoms in the Detolfs.
So with that couch and the different shelfes it's all merged through color, as there are only 2: black and a grey-ish brown, called "sonoma oak". I had this room in 80-90% how I wanted it: a lounge where you can kick back, read comics and be surrounded by your saturday mornin' cartoons and other franchises. But space and motivation ran out, so I stopped to further improve on it and instead moved 3 1/2 hours away for a fresh start.
The year is 3057 and it is Collection Critique episode 52836592.

With the Robocop display, those small figures look like the Hiya 1/18th scale figures. They are nice for the price point, but for Robocop I think its better served by 1/12th. 1/11th
Hi, there. Those are mine and actually the Robocop 3 Kenner ones, where you can take of the armor. My idea was to put in the figure evolution. Pretty much the basis and where we're now.
The Robocop and Mortal Kombat looks incredible
7:36 he could place all decepticons on the left shelf and leave all the autobots in front of the ark art "protecting" it from the decepticons (now on the left shelf) descending upon it to attack. Just pose the figures accordingly.
2 different collections. The "battle for autobot city" shelf is exactly that, was more fleshed out towards the end though and the left shelf is strictly IDW G1 Autobots.

Some/most..collectors don't put enough thought into how they're going to display their figures. Just putting them on shelves doesn't make the collection look cool! I can't help but laugh at some of these displays!
