it AMAZES me that so many people complain about figures having limited articulation, and after 22 of these videos, 90% of people do not pose their figures.
Duuuude preach, seeing so many collectors have their figures in their “fresh off the Factory line” is like wow

Oh I agree lol. Majority of my figures aren't posed very dynamically so I have almost 0 articulation complaints most of the time

The last one's mine. It's actually not Noah, it's Ivan. :) I'm from Russia, so the name on the e-mail was in cyrillic. Anyway, thanks so much for your opinion, guys. It is truly an honor. You're 100% right about me having too much stuff before and thinnig the herd later. I actually switched from CHUG to MP, and some shelves on the pics are leftovers from that time. It's a constant work to make a better display, and today it already looks much better. Your critique videos are a big help too!
The thing about protecting the figures from dust - it's not just about protecting the figure and prolonging its lifespan. It's because who the hell wants to spend all that time cleaning their figures? I don't have time for that. If I'm handling my TFs it shouldn't be to do another tedious chore, it should be recreational and fun.

Man I’m looking through your channel and I thought you would’ve been way larger. I’ve been subbed for years but I thought you had like 300k subs man. To me your content is on par with someone like jobbythehong where you’re very personable like him and put effort and quality into your videos. Be it like talking about interesting topics or just bringing depth to collecting. Who we gotta talk to man to fix this you’re up there with jobby and emgo as some of my favorite reviewers man ruins my day.

So that was fun ! Glad Mrs skull liked the planes on wires. The display has changed since its been a little over a year as i now have 4 detovs in the living room that thinned the heard so to speak but the "Red room" is still going to be red. Lmao! And Skylinx still laughs in your general direction @Bobby skullface! Good stuff that was fun!

I bought a Moducase with the intention of putting my MP collection in them. Waited 2 years, got it all set up with my MPs and......hated it. MPs look like $12 toys in a Moducase, completely took me out of my MP collecting for a bit.
Air purifier. Problem solved.
If your collection space isn’t in a main lived in room, you will only need to dust once a year.
Not police batons. Those are wooden tonfas. They are Karate weapons that started as an Okinawan farm tool.
You guys need to do a good/bad comparison. I love seeing the bad and hearing the critiques you give, but show a good comparison with your collection displays too! :D

I wonder if it would be a good idea for the four dummies to provide appropriate examples of space, lighting and composition for a shel in a detolf, billy etc when talking about the critique.

I dread the day you guys get to my submission. I sent the pictures so long ago that my current display looks absolutely nothing like what you are going to critique.

Yup mine was sumitted about that long to and he finally got to it now and i saw him in Baltimore a transformers con and he told me in a few week . Be patient.

Awesome video once more. With dynamic posing I would like to add some extra advice. It can be subtle, like a family portrait. Put an arm around the figure next to it, make faces look towards eachother. When the figures on one shelf are a bit in harmony with their posing it makes them all look much better.
With glass doors u would like your opinion a bit more. Since in a lot of places where it’s more humid, dust can ruin models. Besides that, doors give another layer of protection. A model will not fall from great hights when there is a door in front of it. Is there a way you can optimize doors?

I think Joe M sent these pictures in after making these shelves to get some feedback as to what would work and look best for his collection before he starts throwing money away on things that may not work. I you guys give very good advice on how to properly display a collection. I know Joe M will take your feedback and run with it. I hope he sends it the updated pictures when he gets it all done.
You guys need to do a show like Queer Eye and go help these guys improve their displays. I'd dig a Nerd Eye staring the Four Dummies.

I actually think glass doors if done right can look good on a "bookcase" to turn it into a "display case"....but it needs to be done right....e.g. having frameless glass doors...Not needing to dust is just the bonus for me.

I think a big issue most of these contributors have is that they are playing in too many lanes. Pick a line and do it justice with a clean display. I don't want to see a smattering of figures from G1 to Legacy squashed together and covered with dust. The aesthetics don't jibe and you come off as a hoarder, not a collector.

Mod u case They are AWESOME if you have big statues... but personally they are too deep and open to display a bunch of smaller bots/items but I think they also custom build... a bit spendy but worth it if you have the $ and lack any carpentry skill.

The only thing I can say is I have to put glass on my bookshelves because I have 3 young children and I will not sacrifice my collection to the bathtub god
Tooo much clutter... "Flea Market look" The 1st and 3rd were ok...but the other 2 :/ Love the comment on glass doors - Moducases look too deep but the glass distracts the same as mirror backing ... still get the reflection. Get a air purifier that pulls the dust out of the air and you don't have to dust as often.
