What a draw he beat to take the title... and playing some beautiful tennis as well. He was born to be great.
16 years later STILL THE NUMBER ONE 🐐🐐🐐🐐🐐🐐🐐🐐🐐🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌
16 years ago 😮😮😮😮
And he still fit and ranked number one at 36 years old
Weird to see how different groundstrokes looked then. He's so much more balanced now
Feels like he had a lot more wasted movement. If you look back at shots from the early 2000s that seems to be a general thing
Always fun watching this aggressive version of Novak.
2008 djokovic was the best #3 player winning big titles & losing only to fedal #1 & #2 in slams & masters except wimby where safin outplayed him. Won AO & atp finals this year & it is definitely his best season before prime (2011-2016).
Yeah he just didn’t have the mental strength nor body conditioning that he does since 2011 to beat the big two back then.
@@Deerjason In 2008, he only retired from one match.. he was already playing long matches and he scored some wins over them.
@@Divvy21 yeah but he couldn't keep playing well enough after long hours, his condition still wasn't best
Roger wins the 2004 Australian Open then wins Indian Wells
Djokovic wins 2008 Australian Open then wins Indian Wells
Nadal wins 2009 Australian open then wins Indian Wells
Wonder if Sinner will do the same
Still Djokovic is the goad. So
@@s.z.x.01 maybe
Coincidences only the greats have.
Federer did it also in 2006 & 2017.
Djokovic did it also in 2011, 2015 & 2016.
So refreshing to watch epic points without commentary reactions, nowadays whoever wins is a disastrous cringeness fest
I like the short overview between the different rounds. So I know the opponent and it's overall easier to follow the video!
I can see now that both Federer and Nadal were cold to Djokovic. It seemed liked an exclusive club. And Fedal didn’t want to let him in.
Insane, I'm feeling nostalgic
Just beautiful tennis
Young Nole 💯
He was absolutely Born to be great
16 years later he wins another Indian Wells Title. 🐐🇷🇸
Nobody even djokovic cares just the french open matters right now just slam he has so many masters its like vienna 2020 i have the same feeling he is no longer motivated to wins those tournemants
@@kenanderkroate 99% of pro players never win Masters Title. The fact that Djokovic has 40 Masters Titles just proves his greatness.
Windy conditions here may not favour him like in montecarlo. Except him to reach atleast semis but he is definitely winning Miami if he can't win title here.
@@NR-ov6poI agree with you!!! Hope he can go deep in Indian Wells …💪👍🙏
@@0kos. No one denied his greatness...
One and only GOAT Novak 🔥🔥🔥
NOVAK DJOKOVIC IS THE GREATEST OF ALL TIME 🐐🐐🐐🐐🐐🐐🐐🐐🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌
😮i like hos teqnique abd style of playing from that period (2007-2008)
Goat djoko is definitely the goat
🐐 things
Thanks Tennis TV.
GOAT
See, upping the fps really helps these older matches.
Wawrinka looking good here too
Baby GOAT Novak! So good... 😊
Beatiful scenes 😍😍😍😍😍🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🐐🐐🐐🐐🐐🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌
That "it's not bad" at the end...
Already the Goat
你现在依然是最棒的那个人❤
Easily way better than Federer, no visible weakness in his game, no shanking on shots, no weak backhands
The day Djoke still use wilson racket
15:58 The entire difference between those two just in one line.
LET'S GOOOOOO NOLEEEEE 🐐🐐🐐🐐🐐🐐🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌
IDEMOOOOO NOLE!!!! DO POBEDEEEEE!!!!! 👍🐐🙏🚀🔥🤴👏💯👍🐐🙏🚀🔥🤴👏💯👍🐐🙏🚀🔥🤴👏💯👍🐐🙏🚀🔥🤴👏💯👍🐐🙏🚀🔥🤴👏💯 SVI TE VOLIMOOOO IDEMOOOOO!!!!!

This is why I consider the view that Djokovic was a late bloomer to be completely unfounded. He won his first major at 20 years old and had a couple of masters titles by that point. The only reason he seemed like a late bloomer is bc no one predicted that he would reach the level that he did in 2011 and become the GOAT in the decade that followed and bc he was just one year younger than Nadal who had won even more by that point. But make no mistake, this man was a protege. If we saw a young djokovic at twenty years old among today's generation he would be held in the same regard as sinner or alcaraz right now.
You're perfectly right. But people always forget and also suffer from many bias including the one you described and the recency bias
Nadal didn't even look at Novak after loosing.
グルテン摂取Wilsonジョコビッチやんけ笑
Not one highlight of Marty winning a point. Young Djoko looking like sinner, painting, sprinting. Marty working hard as the young body savant, years later, what great tennis, Nadal hitting that fire hot darn! throw the rackets WAR, Djo was like "make me lose this point, nah."
🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🐐🐐🐐🐐🐐🐐🐐🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌
Where si the Best shot from 2013?
🫶
The era of stupid baggy oversized shorts and shirts eventually came to an end.
Unconvenient truth: Novak was already in his prime here. The only thing stopping him from N1 were the two legends.
Nope I think his body abilities were too limited comparing to his 2011 season..in 2009 his serve was a totally disaster ...and in 2010 the first half was one of his worst ever only second to 2017 season
@@arcadianluna2605 He was faster and aggressive than ever, but started to have problems with his stamina in 2009.
Another coping Fedfan. Tell me what did Federer achieve at the same age.
@@AlanRR121 What Federer has to do with anything.
@@masters.1000 lyer 2008 was the best year of djokovic, but out of his prime, later he has to start troubles with his back and has to change his serve motion, after a 2008 with the racket change he lost consistency on his strokes, specially on the serve and backhand side, we saw in 2009
djokovic had more pleasant tennis. to beat records, he made his playing style boring and bureaucratic
