I've been a company driver for 18 years. Now I've become an O/O, and your videos really have shown me so much on how to work and fix my own truck. Thank you very much!
Not sure of your reasoning for these videos; be it educational, monetary or just for likes, but please accept my sincere gratitude bro! Hopefully all of the pre-mentioned things are there but let me add that you are literally helping me feed and house my children and grandchildren as well! Being a mechanic kinda fell into my lap, long story short. I was in another field and life happened, as it does sometimes. I say that to say, I had next to ZERO experience doing this. Your videos gives me the tools sorely needed and I appreciate you dude! Thank you!!! P.S. Your camera person needs a raise!!! LOL
Thank ya sir, this means the world watching this. I'm in diesel tech school at the moment trying to learn as much as possible.
I've learned so much from you , your vids give me the confidence and assurance at work. Love the energy you bring , its like im right there with you. KEEP IT UP !!
Thanks for the video I'm an entry level diesel mechanic from Houston and this video helps me learn that much more!
I'm both diesel and gaz engine mechanic from Iran. I love my job and I plan to migrate to Canada to become a truck driver. In my opinion anyone who wants to drive heavy vehicles in harsh conditions like ice roads, logging, etc. should be at least a medicore mechanic first, then attempt driving. You can't beg bears and wolves to help you when you break down in the middle of nowhere. BTW great videos. Carry on and let us enjoy 👍💪
Thanks for watching.
@@TATEXPRESSINC Great work. I would love to know where you guys are located so I can get some work done on my Volvo.
@@TATEXPRESSINC also: I just got my seal replaced precisely in that rear corner, yet after less than 1,000 miles that seal is leaking again.
What are the possible failure points that would cause that; I mean parts and what was done incorrectly during reinstalling the assembly that would cause it to leak again?
Thanks in advance.
@@psuperpsychophreak if it's leaking after 1000 miles, the seal was not installed correctly. Probably damaged in the process by using wrong installation tool, cleaning hub or not torquing the spindle nut properly.
I did my first Seal today and it was a Success, you made it look so easy 😭 Great video brother!
The wonders of technology ! My '97 Pete had the old style bearing system, without the spacer, and when the bearings wore a little the inner race of the inside bearing moved ever so slightly outward , allowing it to spin on the spindle. Eventually all four drive wheel spindles needed to be replaced, normally meaning new axle carriers. An other option, much less expensive, was to weld new spindles on and a specialist was available for this. The new system put that type of specialist out of business. My '07 Pete had the new stuff.
This is like going to maintenance school, thanks again brother you have the best videos in this channel,

Good stuff bro thanks for showing how it’s done
What's up, man! I hope you're doing well.
First of all, thank you so much putting in the time to record this video and share your skills with us. I'm working on my Mack Master certification through my job. This last week our instructor walked us through replacing wheel seals and drum brakes. Our company bought an old Mack GU713 on auction for us to practice on before they rebuild it. Total beater, but a great truck for us to get our feet wet, especially since it's been through hell and back; every step of the way we learn from the challenges that come with working a well-"loved" truck, haha.
Anyway, when I came home today I wanted to see another perspective on replacing the seals. I searched "replacing drive axle hub" on RUclips, and this was exactly what i was looking for. Man, you make it look so easy; I thought I was gonna throw my back out just trying to get the wheel back over the hub without a dolly.
Thank you for all that you do and keep up the great work!! I look forward to checking out the rest of your channel. You just earned yourself a subscriber.

Finally a mechanic that knows not to lube the seal when installing it into the hub. So many morons on here using forms of lube. Says on the damn box not to. Also, no need to fill the hub be for you install the nut like that. On the hub as you can see in the video when you're rotating it there is a 8mm Allen nut you can remove to directly fill the hub. And also that torgue spec is 350-400 for that hub locking nut. I can gladly send you specs. But the shop you're in looks good enough to have that resource. Also enjoyed not seeing you get that last inch of when you're trying to line the shaft up in the diff lol. Video edit. Good luck and happy wrenching.
Awesome vid Bro!
Great work buddy 👍👍👍
I like this video and I like the video when you change the brakes on a eighteen wheeler

Good job man... 👍👍👍
Perfect videos buddy 👏🏼👏🏼👍🏼👍🏼🇨🇦🇨🇦
Great job sir.
Thanks, if you have cups on the axle studs, my advice is to get new split cups if they were not split cups before, you will save yourself a lot of work getting them off the next time around :).
Thanks for sharing
Thanks I have 2 wet seals not leaking yet will get split cups. To replace.thanks
Great, video very detailed!

Excelente trabajó amigo continuo on Your vídeos love extra more learning. Have class B. License but Got plans get endorsement class. A god bless from Los Angeles California
Great video! Can you tell us which year did Volvo start using the newer style spacer?
Thanks watching
Good video but I'd suggest a hub without a bearing shim the bearing preload is tricky for people that don't know how
Bro .. great job
Very good job brother
Good Job!
Great video
Putting Lucas on the inner bearing and seal helps a little too
I generally pack both inner and outer bearings to ensure lubrication while the gear oil works its way back to the hub valley.
Well done bro....iove ur video
Thanks I learned things about thanks 🙏
Thank you!! Man
You're welcome!
Damn good vid!!
i think i would have put the sandpaper to that tone ring & cleaned the windows as much as possible, the rest looks good, thank you.
Nice Vid ....thanks bro
Hi I was wondering if you did a video on how to replace those bearing races. Also we’re can I get a socket like that , or is it homemade? Lastly how can I look up torque specs on any make or model of truck/ is there a specific web sit or is it out of a service manual? Thank you
Buen trabajo..gracias..
The correct wheel hub seal driver locates on the step of the seal . I apply a small layer of #2 Permatex on the outside diameter of the metal style wheel hub seal .
Well done .
will you be my mechanic fantastic video thanks for sharing knowledge..🙏
I learned how to do these in the army
Good job excellent
Beautiful ☺️
Good job
