The bit about the Sean Kemp story that cut out of this video was that at the end of the game Bird complemented Kemp on his effort, because as badly as he was getting torched he never gave up. That's why Bird invited him over -- Larry Legend respected determination, and Kemp showed he had it.
I think that game he checked out of was the one where he was 1 steal away from a quadruple double. He told the coach he'd "done enough damage" when asked if he wanted to go for the quad.
The only reason is younger brother beat Larry's scoring record is because Larry missed 1 season of basketball I think his sophomore year. He had a broken angle or something like that. He said high school grade basketball is the lowest grade.... not that his brother was the lowest grade. Lol
If you think fouling Larry Bird is a good idea then you should watch the video called Larry Bird Was No Choirboy which is 10 minutes of Larry Bird getting into fights. Larry Bird wasn't afraid to brawl. He got in Kareem's face and almost fought him and a prime KAJ was a bad dude.
The dribble drill video with Red Auerbach looks like a Harlem Globetrotters training video. Dribbling two balls at once dribbling blindfolded and looking forward while passing the ball between your legs to a teammate that's behind you is mind blowing.
I guess with your headphones on you can still hear the announcer talking, But how do you pay attention to what's being said running your mouth, talking, 'We' can't pay attention to the video and listen to what's going on with your mouth running.
