Hey Allyn, was there ever a follow up on this video? Searching your channel for SuperThrive, I’m only seeing this video. SUUUPER THRIIIIIIVE. MIRACULOUS. 💪🏼
Back in the late '80's and early '90's I was growing weed in Washington state and the cuttings I got from a friend only produced about 3 to 4 ozs of weed so I started taking my own cuttings and kept the mother plant on Super Thrive and used Super Thrive on the cuttings. I would dip the cuttings in a solution of Super Thrive and then put them in little pots to root and after about the 10th or so batch of cuttings the plants started yielding up to 12 ozs per plant and a few even produced about 14 ozs so I know this stuff works. The only problem is that plants in a flower bed will be overgrown in no time.Great stuff!
Keep the interesting side lights, very entertaining. The facts are like being in school or listening to a lecture..... The butt goes to sleep every 7 minutes. The side shows wake me up and make me laugh. I am watching very early in the morning. Dave of Traverse City, MI.
So I've used superthrive for well over 6 years on my plants and absolutely love it. The best rate to use it at is 1ml per gallon. You can throw it in a spray canister and apply it as much as you want. Superthrive is a liquid concentrated growth enhancer product for plants, which has been available since 1940. It contains isopropyl alcohol, glacial acetic acid as a vinegar preservative derived from kelp, ".09% vitamin B1 thiamine or thio-vitamin (sulfur containing vitamin), .048% 1-Naphthyl acetic acid", 96.11% total other ingredients plus over 50 secret proprietary ingredients that the company does not disclose.
I've used superthrive the last two years and YES it definitely works. I've never used it on the lawn but works wonders on our various plants and trees. about to buy a gallon fir $140. sounds crazy but its enough to keep all of our trees and plants here in oregon nice and healthy. thanks for the vid!
Can I use superthrive for outdoor soil cannabis plants and also can I mix superthrive with Dyna Gro Grow while on veg state i apologize to bother u i just need some advice i will really appreciate it alot🙏
@@illmodafukas_ytlainez4473 no I definitely wouldn't use it for cannabis. You need to follow a strict nutrient guide for NPK. Just look up Fox Farm or any other popular cannabis nutrient line. It'll cost you bit for the full lineup of nutrients but should last you through a few grows
And where the results? I was waiting whole that video to see the results at the end and disappointed. No results at the end. What the point of the video and experiment then?
+The Lawn Care Nut kind of funny how you have a site set up asking people for money for your advice and support i do it and I asked a question and even said how much I like the channel but get no response. Did you not like my question?
+The Lawn Care Nut I can't find the video where you give the supplier for commercial lawn products for a home owner. I need to order some products for my Bermuda grass. Thanks! Great channel!!
Hey! In one of your videos you talked about adding dish soap to weed killer. That worked like a charm! I finally have the upper hand on the clover that is slowly taking over my front yard. Thanks Lawn Care Nut. You're my hero.
Digging your videos as always. I liked how much fun you were having playing around while you wait for that St. Augustine to fill in. Very entertaining!
Bought me some SuperThrive at the local Home Depot... Was walking through Walmart today and found some more. Going to break it out in a couple of days before going out of town a few days. Can't wait to see the results
I used superthrive for a couple seasons over a decade ago and was happy with the results, but I was growing on a smaller scale. I finally decided to try it again this year and growing flowers on a much larger scale. So far I'm pleased but it's still early yet to see if it's a big difference or not. I haven't changed anything else about the fertlizers I use or how I apply them or how often. The only change is superthrive. I do have to say, I transplated (ie, yank them out of the ground and re plant) some nicotiana starts in 80 degree weather and they never wilted. I soaked the transplants after planting. I have a dahlia that has grown over 6 foot this year and is absolutely loaded with blooms. Similar story with the other second year dahlias. I have some first year dahlias that I am also applying the same fertlizers and superthrive to as a bit of a control if you will to compare results of non superthrive from last year. I do belive the formula has changed slighty from when I was using it many years ago. good luck to you, I love this channel!
+The Lawn Care Nut You probably won't get this but here it goes. Love the videos and your information. I do my lawn up here in New England the same way you did yours at the old house. I just put on new gator blades on my lawnmower but everytime after I mow, the tips turn brown. Why is this happening with new blades? I watch your videos so much to try and get answers. Do you think you can help me?
+palillo2006 forgot to mention, it only does it in my front yard that gets sun everyday, the back yard gets sun half the day and seems not to have that issue
My neighbor across the street had a company come in and strip and re-sod the whole front lawn....My question is, does this count as him now dominating me?
Ya I bought this bottle and still have not used it yet. good timing! from what I'm seeing since I like growing stuff you can eat and consume. they say be very careful with this stuff
I have added that to all trees that ive transplanted, never had anything die on me with that. everything seems to "thrive" as cliché as that sounds. I also add that to my liquid lawn fertilizer (Dr. Earth) when im spraying my grass. Honestly it seems to help things out in summer during the most heat/drought type of situations.....cant wait to see the results
Great video. Have you look at "shampooing" the lawn instead of aeration? Basically it is just adding the surfactants without anything else. It is supposed to loosen up the soil.
I work at Home Depot in Marina Del Rey and we can't keep this stuff on the shelf.... it sells out quick. Vita/hormone... good stuff. Surprised they didn't call you back. People use it on EVERYTHING! OH! By the way, the tool you are using... that flies off the shelf as well. Great for quick sucker branch removal, edging quick areas, poking things and chopping things.

bro with those experiments one day you're going to wake up and walk out there look at Frankenstein lawn and it's going to look like the 18th green at Augusta National lol
Haha, I bet you could pull it off with lava rocks and vermiculite. Thanks for the entertaining knowledge. My lawn was 50% barren, packed dirt and 50% weeds 3 years ago. 2 top dressings, several overseedings plus some LCN-guided TLC and now we DOMINATE!

Hey allyn I have a quick question. So where I live I get charged $11.20 per 1000 gallons of water with sewer included in. I have probably around 6 or 7 thousand sqft and I don't know how much my bill would increase. How much do you think it would cost to water my lawn for the month
LCN, I can tell you that I grew a certain type of herb with that stuff and it looked like a Disney palm tree! Btw, I live in Hobart Indiana. The summer heat has taken a huge toll on my lawn garden this year.
So what was the results of the two sprigs? Can't find an update. Did Superthrive help or hurt.

Why pick up the grass clippings? I was taught that I am throwing away nutrients that I have paid for in caring for my lawn and that I should just use a mulching mower and leave the clippings to renourish the lawn. Also getting rid of lawn clippings is a pain, no place to leave them on my property and the garbage collectors won't haul away any biologicals. Have to haul them myself to the land fill.

I mulched here, no catch.
Hi! I've been watching your vids for a a couple of years now. Whats your recommendation for watering St Augustine? I live in Dallas, Texas.
I would like to know what it is and how it works, test it out a few times on various patches before I form a consensus. That's what I think. :)
Tks for the post
can you discuss the various soil test kits that are available?
I take it there was either inconclusive or negative results with this Super thrive. That would make a snake oil conclusion/ result video a possible problem with the super lawyer from Super thrive.

yeah the "bitter blue" st augustine is very crunchy - it grow fast though.
You should make a sticker THROW 'ER DOWN
(if you haven't already) could put it of your fert spreader haha. Is there a way to buy an LCN sticker?
love your videos but the editing is a little much now
Isn't Super Thrive a fertilizer?
More of a "supplement" than a fertilizer. It contains hardly any N-P-K, if any.
Should you refrain from mowing a lawn going through a drought? sprinklers need work
yes refrain. don't mow a lawn that is in summer dormancy.
Does it help the sprigs & runners take hold if you were to rake/loosen the soil in-between the plugs or is your sandy soil loose enough?
sandy soil is plenty loose already. Great question.
I have a good lawn of Bermuda grass.
Is it possible to stripe it?
New to your vids and enjoy them! My main source for lawn tips!! I've got a question: I'm planning on dethatching/overseed this fall....... should I aerate too or what till spring?

so I know this is way off topic but I need some advice, I tried a DIY lawn striper and it did not work at all. I used a pvc pipe with rock/clay mixture, my grass height exactly 2 1/2 inch. The grass just keeps popping right back up and not laying over at all.
The taller you mow, the better the stripes. But realize that you don't want to fold it over completely, just give it a little direction.
Thanks, ya I'm at the second highest setting my mower will go, I guess ill just go all the way up. My grass just stands straight up, won't bend at all

Hey allyn I have a quick question. So where I live I get charged $11.20 per 1000 gallons of water with sewer included in. I have probably around 6 or 7 thousand sqft and I don't know how much my bill would increase. How much do you think it would cost to water my lawn for the month
Or should I just water the front yard and the sides to save water and not water so much and just let my backyard go dormant because
some towns have a "sprinkler credit" in the summer. do you have that? as far as gallons -- just do a bucket test and see what your output is.
LCN, I can tell you that I grew a certain type of herb with that stuff and it looked like a Disney palm tree! Btw, I live in Hobart Indiana. The summer heat has taken a huge toll on my lawn garden this year.
+cmo9781 yes I am quite aware of its use in hydroponics ans related "weeds" I'm hoping turf grass reacts the same way! How are thing in da region?

I’ve used it today and didn’t used gloves or a masker like it says and I feel dizzy now my head hurts
How long did you soak the sprigs before you planted them?
it ended up being about 30 min when all said and done. The package recommended 15 minutes.
