I would rank my top 3 as
1.Six flags Magic Mountain
2.Knott's berry farm
3.Disneyland
Good list. I think USH and SWSD both have a lot of potential to improve over the next few years, they started off as parks that pretty much only have shows but they’ve been adding so many rides over the past decade, it’s very impressive.
Totally agree
I live in California and I love the ranking but tbh, universal gets higher just because horror nights is fucking awsome
If Horror Nights was taken into account Universal would be a lot higher but I was trying to focus on just the regular parks themselves for this video.
@@worldofimmersion yeah that makes sense, I bet there could be an entire video about just ranking the mazes
Also new huge attractions like Nintendo world, fast and the furious coaster and others to come
Well you have to keep in mind that universal studios Hollywood, unlike its sister parks, is an actual functioning movie studio. So there’s only so much room they have because blockbuster hits are being created there.
From San Diego and I haven’t been to any theme parks passed Magic Mountain. So I’m just gonna say for Southern CA I put Knott’s Berry Farm at the top of my list. It’s a whole lot cheaper than Disney, has something for everyone like thrill rides, flat rides, dark rides, water rides, good food, good shows, and in my opinion they do it the best around Halloween time hands down
Niceeee
Thanks for putting knotts on #2
My favorite park in the state is Disney's California Adventure, followed by Disneyland, Six Flags Magic Mountain, SeaWorld San Diego, Knott's Berry Farm, and Legoland California. I haven't been to Universal Studios Hollywood or any of the parks in Northern California yet, but I will in the future.
I had a very similar experience at Six Flags Discovery Kingdom as you in 2021 with rides opening late and everything that did open was on one train. It was very frustrating but I went back in November 2022 and was honestly surprised at the improvements the park made. Rides still opened late but Joker and Medusa both ran 2 trains all day and had quick dispatches so lines never got long. It also seemed like the park overall had a livelier atmosphere in 2022 although I definitely agree the back half of the park needs some work. If they can get their act together with having more consistent operations and opening rides with the park more often, I could see SFDK rivaling CGA for being a top 5 park in the state!

i thought they were gonna put knott’s berry farm in 10th cause of the video clips 😂😂😂
I never have been to six flags magic mountain before and I have been living in California my whole life .
Mind blown
Whhhhaaattt?! Go! (If you like the thrilling rides)
No way you put knotts after six flags and then Disneyland after knotts . I think it’s
#1 six flags
#2 knotts
#3 Disney land
The atmosphere and park maintenance of MM just doeant compare to Knotts or Disney. As good as the ride collection is the other two are just so much more well maintained
first
Ik it's up to opinion, but how can u put MM over USH? MM only has a strong ride collection. It fails at everything else. It's filthy, bad service, poor operations, and bad food
Lame
