It does my soul good to see the blue bubbles getting some attention. You can often squeeze two or even three great oracular's off on an opponent that hasn't aggroed yet, though the spam might feel a bit less dynamic. I'm glad to see you enjoying an arcane caster after we talked briefly about the versatility it can bring.
Bubbles can be good in the right circumstances. They just don't have a lot of versatility. They can do their thing very well, but it requires set-ups. I think this is why they are not as popular as they could be. Personally, I found a lot of success with them. So far, this Arcane caster was a lot of fun. I am still working on the Faith side of the Arcane Hybrid. Dragon Incantations are a lot of fun. Thank you for your comment.
I love the theorycraft put into these builds, with very reasonable options. Proof that you don't have to do everything exactly like the meta options to have great fun with this game.
Absolutely. The META is mostly for PvP where the objective is to win. In PvE? Everything is good. Always use what is the most fun. Thank you for your comment.
Just tried this build as a respec for NG+ Have to say this is by far the most fun build I’ve tried. It can really handle any boss/ mob situation. Other options to consider, using the silver tear mask (looks ugly), but it gives you +8 arcane, vs the +3. And if you can get faith to 25, you can use all dragon incantations, golden vow, plus some frenzy flame and bleed incantations 🎉
I am very happy that you enjoyed the build. It turned out to be very fun to make too. Initially, I thought it would be a bit of a meme build, but it ended providing a lot of efficiency. Thank you for your comment.
For sure. Making builds is one of my favorite things to do in this game. It might take a while to get them just right, but I will keep on producing them. Thank you for your comment.
Edit: really nice video, you gave me ideas for this build, honestly, really good content in here You should try the clayman's harpoon in occult scaling, it gets strangely a B in occult and a C on intelligence
God damn, this is a fantastic recommendation. This scaling is very curious, but C INT / B ARC is perfect for this build. Thank you for your comment and contribution.
I found your channel and must say, I love your style! Ironically, I found this video because I got so bored of the Moonveil and since I absolutely love Eleonora’s Polevlade I researched inspiration for a INT/ARC build and now I got so many ideas :) Thanks so much for sharing this
I am very happy to hear. There are many other videos in the channel. Some are builds, others are guides on mechanics, but all of them are there to offer inspiration. Thank you for your comment. I appreciate it.
@@FrownyGaming Thank you! I have been binge watching and can’t wait to watch everything, the effort you put in, your unique presentation, everything is so concise, I am very greatful!
Along with being a fun build, this is also an incredibly accurate to user build. Anybody that uses moonveil and rivers of blood really is a clown Fr tho cool build especially for malenia
Initially, I did something very similar. In fact, I began as a Standard Sleep Build. More Arcane, less Intelligence, Carian Slicer, Crescent Halberd and a lot of Soporific Grease. Really good for PvP, but it got boring for PvE. So, I ended up looking for something a bit more experimental. Thank you for your comment.
Pristine presentation FG. Nice work indeed. Been on the hunt for a new build for NG+. Tried many but this build has scratched that itch. So many options. Timmy J the trickster clown lol . Perfect. TY M8. Well done.
Timmy J is 100% what he was known by at Clown School. I am adding it to his lore. I am really happy that you liked the build and I appreciate your kind words. Thank you.
@@FrownyGaming I hope you have the time to share his Lore with us. Timmy seems the type that failed to pull a rabbit out of a hat...So he pulled a hair out of his a..... and never looked back . 😃
This is the tragic tale of Timmy J: Jester Timothy is member of a family of long-lasting Jesters. His ability was singing, and he learned from the singing harpies in Liurnia. He is the brother of Jester Thomas, from Dark Souls 2. While Thomas decided to be a pyromancer, Timothy went down the Eldritch path of Arcane. The thing about Eldritch knowledge, is that it comes at a heavy price, and Timothy lost his voice. Now with no more talent, and filled with madness, he wanders the Lands Between trying to bring joy to a joyless land. He fails. This increases his frustration, turning him into a psychotic murderer. He will never know peace.
love the build! I'm thinking of replacing the weps used in this build with Ripple Crescent halberd and use what ever greases that the bosses im fighting are vulnerable against! Whilst blowing bubbles their way too! :P do you think the levelling path in this build would be similar or should I change it up a tad to suit my weapon of choice better?
ASTROLOGER starter class Level prog I came with is 1. 20 VIG 2. 12STR 25int 18arc (use of bubbles ASAP and halberd requirements) 3. 40 VIG 4. 30int 26mind 5. 50 arc 6. 60vig 7. 50 int
You can definitely do this. I think that it would be efficient and still fit the feeling of the build. Access to Ripple Halberd + Sleep Grease is a great support addition for many different enemies. Good idea. Thank you for your comment.
Had a really hard time finding an optimized 150 build for wretch. Seems like a dragon incantation/bleed spellcasting mix is the best bet with sword of night and flame for those staggered enemies and having a big hit that isn't bleed.
So what do you like to play? Or are you just looking for whatever is strong? There are a lot of things that Wretch can build at 150, so I am sure that we can find something that suits you. Thank you for your comment.
There might be other builds out there that I'm not aware of, but this is the first time I'm seeing a build that uses both RoB and Moonveil. Both katanas have received nerfs to their ashes, particularly in their effectiveness at range, so there's alot less complaints over them. They're still very strong weapons, though, so I was curious how you were gonna build around them. Not surprised at how the katanas were used given their respective ashes, but I do like that you chose bubbles as two of your spells.
Combining the Katanas' close-range efficiency with the Sorceries that in my list turned out to be very successful. While Katanas are not my favorite weapon type, they are still very good so it really helped to keep a good offensive. On the other hand, both bubble spells have been awesome. Sure, they don't have the utility of say, Lightning Spear, but they shine in their own set-ups. I became a fan of them very quickly. Thank you for your comment.
Very interesting. I always hesitated trying int arcane. Not bad. Biggest edge I see is becoming a mage with multiple damage types against barrier of gold.
Oh shit! You are not wrong. I wish I could have noticed this before and I would have played more into it. It's a mime! How terrifying. Thank you for your comment.
Fun note this build can do. I don't know how bad it would be ar Wise. If you grab an uchigatana and make it cold you do more damage from several cold procs because the fire damage from rivers of blood will instantly reset the frostbite status effect. Could be useful against magic resistant enemies.
In the channel I got a STR/INT build named the “Frostflame Vereran”. It focuses on using the exact same technique you mentioned: Frosting the enemy, fire reset, into more frost. Check it out if you are interested. Thank you for your comment.
If you want to. Personally, I do not think it is worth. I never used items that lower my defenses. My style is a lot more geared to being able to take more hits, not less. But give it a try and let me know how it works for you. Thank you for your comment.
I disagree. I really like having an optimized HP pool. It allows me to take more hits, which translates into more time to experience and learn bosses. I believe that it will come in handy in the DLC where we do not have prior knowledge. Thank you for your comment.
This is quite the negative comment. I believe that the build goes well beyond Moonveil, both in options and possibilities. If you have an issue with the weapon, you can just use another one that I recommend. The character holds in either case. Thank you for your comment.
i died inside when i saw both katanas
The perfect set-up for my clown character! Thank you for your comment.

Interesting way to do an arc/int build. I also did that build but went less int and more arcane and used the occult infusion on my weapons.

If I ever use this build in pvp I'm naming it scholar of the first sin
Oh shit, this is a great name. I will put it in my pocket for the future. Can't believe I did not think about it. Thank you for your comment.
I think a fun ash of war would be the Albanaurics. They look like circus clowns themselves the way they cartwheel around aimlessly 😅
This is a great suggestion. It would look fantastic as a team. Thank you for your comment.

Good observation. You can definitely lean more into the Mage aspect while switching damage types. Thank you for your comment.
why not the mask from sellena it gives 3 int and 3 arcane
Because I do not like how it looks. Feel free to use it if you prefer it. It can definitely be useful. Thank you for your comment.
This build somehow remembers me Joker or Pennywase.
I am glad that it does. I tried to go for a similar feeling. Thank you for your comment.
New channel: “clownygaming”
I can see this as a successful channel! Thank you for your comment.
Everyone thought the Dung-Eater was loathsome, but what you have created here is . . . a mime. Even the Dung-eater thinks you have gone too far.

what
