Beautiful potholder! I love the colors and really appreciate the detail you go into in your tutorial. I like ending the round with an invisible stitch before changing colors, and your tip about using your crochet hook rather than a tapestry needle to "sew" the last stitch. That really saves time instead of having to use a tapestry needle to sew it. Also, flipping your work over every two rounds results in a beautifully square potholder. Not only did you give us a lovely new pattern, but your "tips and tricks" are so helpful! Thank you for this pattern....I'm a new subscriber and will be checking back often to view your videos! Char from Phoenix, Arizona, USA 🌵🌄🐍🌵

Very nice. I had different type of cotton yarn but it turned out very pretty.

I was given some of this Lidl yarn for Christmas and so discovered your site. I love the way you do the invisible stitch for the join at the end of a round, and wonder if you would be lovely and kind and do a little you tube video just on this join! It would make it so easy to look up, until we have all learnt how to do it. Thank you for posting this as I found the written instructions on the packet not very helpful, but yours are great.

@@MezzaCraftThank you for your reply. I have now learnt how to slow down the You Tube videos and so have made a note in my Crochet Notebook of the time you start explaining how to do the invisible join. It looks so neat.

I think it would be more wise to start with a magic cirkle. To make the center much smaller. We dont like to be burned. Forgive me my bad english. Love from 🇳🇴

Yes, you could do a magic circle - however, the ring made with this fine yarn and small hook is not big enough for your finger to slip through. I have been using them without a problem. If you made the pot holder using a thicker yarn and bigger hook then the hole would definitely be problem and a magic ring would be the best option.
