Ryunosuke Haga is the 2015 World Champion U100kg of Astana. He won Olympic Games bronze in 2016. Haga won the Universiade in Shenzhen (Student World Championships) in 2011. Won the World Junior Championships U20 in 2010 in Agadir. In 2015 he won the Grand Prix in Dusseldorf and Grand Slam in Tokyo. In 2017 he won gold at the Grand Prix in Hohhot. In February 2018 he dislocated his shoulder. He won the Grand Slam of Osaka in 2019. In 2020 Haga won the All Japan judo title.

@@user-RASUL1985Начал заниматься самбо у Семена Гуманова в 1968, потом перешло в дзюдо. Так что какой-то опыт и понимание у меня в этом есть.

Judo is weird science! I looked at this clip a couple of times. The throw was nice ,but the twisting of the body was science. This throw had impact. I gotta find a school in January!
The ref didn’t think so as he only scored a wazari, not an ippon. It’s debatable as he didn’t land flat on his back, however it could have been ippon as it was forcefully executed, just unlucky that time.
But definitely beautiful technique.
@@pits2039Such a beautiful lift. Didn't have the pull on that arm because he grabbed the sleeve. He landed on his head and shoulder. Wazari was a good call. Uchi-Mata was my favorite technique. Did plenty of flying and landed with my back on top of the opponent. Very explosive. Good Ol days

@@ИгорьИгорь-г1й8йyes they did. They used jujitsu to disable heavily armored enemies in close combat and finish them with a dagger/short sword. Their main weapons were bow and arrows (rifles and musquets in some occasions) and spears but once it gets to close range and they lose their spears they'll use jujitsu to finish the fight. Its easier than katanas that won't cut through heavy armor.

When I watch this move I'm noticing that the man doing the move also hits his head on the ground, instead of soft mat's picture cement with that same impact, neither one comes out of this without a concussion
But the one in the white probably gets knocked out if they were on cement
fair point, but blue kinda "embraces" for impact plus his head is starts at a lower point. look how low his head is when he starts lifting his leg. white is thrown off guard and travels basically from head height. kinda hard to see with the slow-mo though...
He did not hit his head. Slightly bumped it. I am doing the sport. felt the same kind of impact numerous times. No concussion on cement.

That’s what I like about judo, size doesn’t matter with the right technique and skill you can easily use someone’s size against them if they’re bigger than you.
Size does matter, so does weight.
@@-_deploy_-nope it doesn’t, every fight isn’t always based on size and weight, If that was the case then George Foreman would’ve beaten Ali who was a lot smaller than him.

@@-_deploy_- that was just an example of size doesn’t matter. You’re literally taught how to take down bigger opponents and it has shown on multiple occasions that it’s very effective we’re not talking about sumo wrestling either were size and weight does matter.
